Disastrous check-in! They kept telling us our room was about ready... finally got our room close to 6pm (we arrived at 3pm!!)... the staff was apologetic for the inordinate delay with a gift voucher... The facilities are nice with a nice big pool... Food was OK (large buffet).. Brand new high end hotel... felt a little out of place in remote Puerto Jimenez.

Great stay. Only problems were construction noise. Internet out for one day. TV out for two days. 2 suggestions: get an electric cart instead of a diesel one which is loud and polutes. Tone down all the music by the bar and pool or put on/off switches on the speakers for people who don't want to hear it. Food is excellent. Staff are excellent.

We enjoyed our stay in Botanika Osa Peninsula. We chose very well our stay there to spend part of our honeymoon. The room is very spacious, very comfortable, well equipped and overall beautiful. The facilities are very modern, clean and appropriate to the style of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was too delicious and in general all the staff was very friendly. We would like to return there in the future.
