There are no words....
We have been visiting the mountains of NC for 20 years and Lodge on Mirror Lake was by far the best rental we have had. There was everything we needed right there on the property. My grands as well as the adults enjoyed the peddle boat, the canoe, and swimming in the lake. The house was perfect to accommodate 9 of us and given the size of the house, we all had our space when we needed some "me" time. Loved the wrap around porch and the views were breath taking. We will definitely be back.

Great stay at Mirror Lake
This is the second time staying at this same property. It was amazing to get away for a week after being cooped up at home during this pandemic. Just like before, the house was great and the lake access was wonderful. Will likely come again!

Location, location, location.
Loved staying here! Great dock, awesome location. The fridge died and the owner delivered one the very next day. Bit of an inconvenience, but they were quick and attentive.

Large comfortable house in great, quiet location!
I could live here! The lake is quiet and beautiful, the grounds are large and great for play. We spent hours in the canoe and paddle boat and had our own paddle board. The lower porch is enclosed which made it easy to keep our dog safe. Huge playroom. We got a kick out of the urinal in the downstairs bathroom. It may be important to know that the two queen beds upstairs do not have a door to the room. Playroom is big with lots to do. We loved our stay and will be back!

Buck Family Summer Adventure in Lake Lure
The property is large and accommodates easily a large group. Each family had space for privacy, but plenty of room for gathering to cook and share meals together, plus play together. The local lake beach and rustic swimming hole are minutes away by car and add to the adventure. This is bear country - keep the grill grease catcher in at night. We saw herons and hatched turtle eggs! There will always be renter needs, and the property manager and assistant were responsive to our requests. Thank you Vess and Calvin.

Perfect Vacation
It is so quiet and peaceful. Can drive to numerous amounts of hiking trails. Can drive into downtown lake lure or chimney rock. This was our second year staying there and we will be back!

Lake Lure
While the home was older and had some quirks including the upstairs bedroom being hot, that does not preclude me from giving the property an excellent review. The property was quiet, beautiful and peaceful. I did not want to leave!
