Front desk/restaurant staff were friendly. Location convenient and rates reasonable. However a few nights into my stay I rolled over to the far side of the king size bed and felt something strange. Pulled the covers back and there was a long, artificial fingernail with glue/skin/? still attached to it.!! Two possibilities…either bedding wasn’t changed before I checked in or housekeeping lost it while making the bed. Either way it’s disgusting and I’d been sharing the bed with it for 3 nights. I went to the front desk to let the clerk know and she agreed that it was gross and said she wanted the manager to talk to me. Said she’d be there in 15 minutes or so. I waited an hour and a half and manager hadn’t shown up so I left to take care of business. Five hours later I hadn’t heard from manager so I called and clerk said sorry but she wasn’t coming in til later in the day and she’d told her to tell me she basically didn’t think it was a problem and didn’t need to talk to me. I was told that MAYBE housekeeping could come change the bedding later in the day but they were really busy with checkouts. I came back, checked out and went to a hotel right down the road. I could excuse the dirty fitness room and breakfast area but sleeping in an unclean bed didn’t work for me. I spent years working the front desk at a hotel and if a guest had to me or any staff member with the same issue we would’ve been appalled and immediately taken care of it. If you have an option stay elsewhere.
