“Easy check in and checkout. Only gave staff 3 stars because a N.A. wasn’t available- we never saw anyone- keys were left out in envelope for us and we used the key drop on the way out - easy peasy . Location was perfect for our needs. WiFi was weak and we had better LTE but room was clean and warm which was great. It had just snowed the day before but the parking lot was still a bit messy - thankfully we had boots . Plenty of food options near by and appreciated the welcome letter from the……

“It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use.”

“Property was as described in listing. We stayed for a weekend while visiting our UMaine student. Only a little further from campus than the hotel in Bangor and a whole lot less expensive and lots more space! Kitchen had what we needed to cook. We didn’t use the backyard but it looked nice and had a fire pit. Quiet area was perfect for us.”

“Beautiful spot on the lake, very private. Stayed with family to view the solar eclipse and it was perfect. Plenty of room - and fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, spices, etc.) and bathroom to make it easy to just arrive (best to arrive with groceries though - it takes awhile to get back to any shops!). Bald eagles (and a golden eagle sighting) were quite a bonus.”

“We've stayed in many cabins across Maine and this is our favorite! Everything we needed was there plus bonuses like kayaks, canoe, paddleboat, etc.. A waterfront fire pit with a beautiful view and large deck overlooking the lake puts the Lake House a step above others! Also, the town of Lincoln and surrounding areas have several awesome restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The location is withing 2 hrs driving to the trails at the base of Katahdin, many beautiful lakes, streams, rivers, and……

“It was beautifully maintained? My room was in the design of an old Maine Camp, it was really well done. The beds were comfortable and there was a microwave, refrigerator and even a little breakfast nook. A great place to stay”

“My family ranged in age from 19 to 70 and the property provided the perfect backdrop for all our events and antics. The pond surprised us with two good catches and a few bass. We ventured out and about into the town of Lincoln, Bangor and Aroostook county. We even had several conversations with the neighbors. “My husband dog and I, very much enjoyed the camp. So peaceful. We ended up getting up there later than planned. John waited for us. He was so kind and helpful. My car ended up having issues and needed to be fixed. I texted John. He sent me to a garage in Lincoln. They were so nice. The lake is clean and clear. So beautiful. “Our family of five enjoyed a fun filled week at Tony's private cove on beautiful Schoodic Lake. We canoed, swam, played endless board games that were at the camp, cooked delicious meals on the grill provided and ended each day with a relaxing camp fire that looked out over the lake. There were plenty of sleeping and hang out spots for everyone, but I enjoyed the screened in porch the most- watching the hummingbirds while drinking coffee. “We planned a family reunion around the total eclipse of April 8. Though viewing it required a further drive north, this house was a perfect place for our reunion. We were so appreciative and grateful for how well it supported and enhanced an amazing time together all around. We felt very lucky with our choice and its availability! “We really enjoyed relaxing on the spacious porch after spending our days fishing in the area. The view of the pond and the comfortable seating were great. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and meal preparation was a breeze. Beautiful scenery but located close to shopping in Lincoln, this was the perfect base for us to float-fish the Penobscot and East Branch. Would recommend, and would love to return.”

“My stay was lovely. The cabin was peaceful and had all we needed to enjoy our time there. Despite the downsides, I'd totally book again. The location was private. The pond was calm with few boats. Loved having the porch swings, picnic table, and outdoor hearth. Walmart & hannaford were 15 minutes away to get the forgotten odds and ends. I had excellent phone service. There was plenty of parking. The furniture was either hard as a rock (queen bed - bring a foam pad!) or rather warn out. The……

“Picture perfect spot to relax & enjoy family time! This vacation home is Awesome, the hosts have literally thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay comfortable & convenient. It is located down a very long dirt road, but once you get there you never have to leave. Local grocery store & other conveniences are a short drive if you do need anything. Great spot for the whole family or if you just want to unplug & relax by yourself. Wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights to truly enjoy all the……

“trip was great cabin was small but hojsed 5 grown men with alot of gear just fine, beds were comfortable but do have to be a smaller adult for loft beds, as for riding trail head was hars to find but with help from local friendly neighbors we found it and had a great few days of riding plus it was nice being so close to town with powersports shops and walmart and grocery store dunks gas everything you could need we had a great time here and will be back next season.”

“The house and lake are both beautiful. We rented a boat, tied it to the dock and spent a terrific week on the water. We used the grill and pizza oven and enjoyed the outdoor shower. The owner provided us with everything that we could need and was super helpful. This is a remote location but perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend!”
