Paying $243. for "Oceanside King with Patio" on a Sunday night, off season, only to discover the room was in a separate building located BEHIND the main establishment.
No OCEAN VIEW, first floor room, in a building technically called a MOTEL. "Private" patios and balconys separated by sheets" View only of the parking lot and the back of the Shore House and their kitchen dumpsters/housekeeping equipment.
Very disappointing, the young man at the front desk was very helpful, but when my only options were stay in a dark overpriced closet with a bed or PAY AGAIN TO UPGRADE TO THE HOTEL ROOM YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE GETTING IN THE FIRST PLACE! "All booked up, No more rooms, Hurricane outside, Sorry, sorry, sorry". You do see where I'm going with this. So out comes the VISA and I'm PAYING AGAIN.
