Stay was awesome texting was awful way to comminucate with owner due to in and out of service while traveling a contact cell number would of been great and how the process worked key entry? or code with out key . However it was un locked and if only we knew in advanced it would of been great . we want to go back though loved it!!

Absolutely wonderful!
What a beautiful place to stay! We loved everything about the colorful & comfortable “Bossie” cabin, from its mountaintop view (fabulous location) to all the thoughtful amenities inside (like lots of hooks on the walls for hanging clothes — so practical!) The cabin was very clean & well-stocked; it had good pans, dishes, silverware, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. — the only things not provided that we needed were a dish towel, a hand towel in bathroom or any wash cloths in the bathroom, but the hosts provided good-quality bath towels, so we used those for drying our hands in the bathroom and luckily we brought our own dish towel so we had one. If you’re planning to stay here, maybe bring a few washcloths & hand towels. Not a big deal for us — especially since everything else was so perfect! The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, and we loved every minute we spent here. It was warm during our stay, but we were able to open up the windows (excellent screens, so no bugs got in!) and get a cool breeze. There’s also a ceiling fan over the main bed, which helped cool the cabin. The reading nook/alcove is a wonderful bonus! We had some rainy weather, too, and it was so relaxing to sit in the comfy reading nook and hear the rain on the metal roof. We were very grateful that the cabin is dog-friendly; I walked my dog down the gravel/sand road every day. The other cabins are nearby but sit enough apart that you get good privacy. We loved staying here & highly recommend it!

Heaven on Earth
I cant believe this place exists. This cabin was everything we wanted. Comfortable, beautiful land with amazing mountain views, most stars I've ever seen. The fire pit was terrific, and was even fully ready for a fire when we got there (had logs stacked in the pit, just had to light it) Check-in and checkout were simple, and will be booking our next trip here asap. AMAZING TIME

Skiing at Gore Mountain
This property is perfect if you want to be close to Gore Mountain skiing. Gore is only 5 minutes away. This little house is perfect and everything they said it was. We will be back again next year for our Gore Mountain skiing get away.

fabulous cabin getaway in the Adirondacks
We had a fabulous stay at Leslie and Emeline's hand crafted cabin. The décor was wonderful and everything about the place was just great. Leslie and Emeline were very responsive to questions and requests. No hesitation! Excellent hosts. It is obvious that Leslie and Emeline have put their collective heart and soul into crafting, decorating, and outfitting the place. We wanted for nothing. A very successful stay. Would we stay again? YES!!

Perfect Cabin Getaway
My boyfriend and I stayed at camp bossie the day after Christmas and it was something out of a Christmas movie! Still decorated and about 3 feet of snow♥️ The cabin is a true masterpiece and my boyfriend and I spent the first hour admiring the woodwork and each amazing detail this amazing lady does! (Fake birds nest and bird on the ceiling) The views of the mountains, sunrise, stars and pure silence as you step outside is pure bliss!! There’s a heated air vent in the bathroom?! The nook to read and no TV is how every vacation spot should be! We made a fire, adventured to OK slip falls, walked to the hotub twice at night and laughed uncontrollably as we slid down the driveway, played cards had drinks and enjoyed every single moment. I‘be already told all of my friends and family that we will be coming back in the summer because somehow it looks even more amazing then and maybe switch it up to fall sometimes! I hope to vacation here for the rest of life and I’m so thankful the owner shares this magical place with strangers♥️ You will not regret coming here and you will daydream about moving to North River!

Adorable cottage
The cottage is lovely and very well appointed with many special touches. Leslie graciously accommodated our request for early check in. It was peaceful and quiet and a terrific base of operations from which to explore the Adirondacks.

A gem of a beautiful getaway spot!
This cottage is absolutely beautiful, clean, so cozy and warm, and the VIEW!!! The view is a stunning view of the mountains, right out the large picture window. There is an adorable table, comfy chair and heater right by the window. We played lots of games and sipped tea while taking in the view. The window faces east, so think sunrise over the mountains! The twin bed in the vestibule was a perfect spot for our teenager to have a little bit of her own space. The window bed was a delight to our younger child for sleeping, and a cozy spot for my husband and I to tuck into during the day and read our books while the kids played board games at the table. There is enough room on the property and on the quiet dirt road to take walks. The Sento bath house is a charming plus and not hard to reserve a spot in. It was a lovely place. My husband and I are already thinking of a couples getaway with no kids to entertain!

Loved the cabin - clean and perfect
I loved this property. We booked it at the last minute because of the proximity to Gore and skiing. Since it was new it did not have many reviews so to be honest I was not expecting much and almost did not book it because it did not have any "ratings" - I use VRBO all the time and do my research before booking! In the end I decided to book since it was just a few days and a place to sleep and have dinner after skiing. Well it was such a great surprise to find this little cozy adorable cabin in the woods. It was private at the end of a road. With great views of the mountains, each morning you wake up to the sunrise over the mountains (without even having to get out of bed) We also took advantage of the hot tub a enjoyed that as well. The cabin was just completed and was pristine, nicely decorated and we used the kitchen which was stocked with plates, utensils, pots etc.) This is now my place to stay each time I come back to the area. The owner was very helpful answered all questions and responded immediately to the few inquiries I had (and provided directions to be sure we did not get lost) Very helpful. Just a note, the cabin had WIFI which I needed for work and had no problem with my zoom calls.
