Tranquil 3-bedroom cottage across from the lake

A completely revamped eclectic cottage is an exceptional mountain escape that gives the comfort of home while making for an ideal timberland & nature bound retreat.

2 fire pits (Free firewood) to appreciate nature, have s'mores or simply enjoy the fire on a chill night. Propane connected Barbecue for grilling a nice meal, exquisite stone propane fire pit & string lighting for ambience.

***Please note our home is located in a gated community which charges additional fees***
Every rental must be registered with Arrowhead Lake Community Association by the owner not less than three (3) days prior to arrival.

Below are the fees:
1) Transaction Fee of $35
2) Vehicle Gate Card Fee of $20 per vehicle
So, for example: if you are bringing 2 cars = $40
3) $6 per person per day for all guests 6 & over
So, for example: 2 people for 2 nights = $24
**Please provide additional information requested in the Welcome message to be registered with the Arrowhead Lake Community Association*
Upon arrival you will have to go to main gate/welcome center to obtain your gate cards and wristbands. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.**

Overall very good
Everything as advertised. Points of clarification: There's no indoor pool at the community center. Why did I think there was one? Who knows. The beach is about 5 minutes down the road and the swimming areas are hilariously small. House was well maintained, but I don't love the memory foam mattresses - but that's more a reflection on me than anything.

A Relaxing Stay
Choosing the mountains was a first us and it won't be our last. The slow pace and quiet was what our family needed. There was much to do if you wanted. We enjoyed either sitting on the deck reading or sitting around a fire or just relaxing in the hot tub. We enjoyed our family time.

Recommend
We had a great time. 2 adults & 4 kids (8-10). Location is great. Place has everything you need. Walkable to 1 beach (drive to the other). Only issue (which is the 4 on cleanliness) was there were huge ants all over (but that’s an easy fix). They didn’t bother us but I could see how some people wouldn’t like those (and yes I know you are in the woods but we know other home owners in that community who do not have that issue). We would book again.

Hot Tub Issue
All in all, the house was great. Clean, everything labeled, great deck and outdoor area. My biggest issue was the hot tub. We had to pay an extra $200 to use the hot tub (was told it wasn’t included in daily price) and I got a skin infection from the bacteria in the water. When I told property manager he did offer to come have it cleaned, but I declined because my doctor advised me to stay out of one until the rash healed. We couldn’t use the hot tub for the rest of the stay, so half my money back(for hot tub) would have been nice. Still highly recommend the house and location, just be careful in hot tub.

Great Property and Community
We had a great stay at this home. The pictures accurately depict the property and everything was well maintained. The community was also very nice with multiple pools and beaches and there are also rentals if you want to go out on the water. The private community also was nice to just walk around with little to no traffic. Also, the kids loved the wildlife, every time we left the house we could find deer, chipmunks, and the occasional turkey. Before we left we were looking to extend our stay, but the house was already booked. We will almost certainly be returning.

It was good for our sisters weekend.
Looks like work in progress. Lots of updates made and looks like more being worked on. Place was clean and well supplied in kitchen and bathrooms etc. The listing showed the hot tub but did not say it wasn't available to use or ready for season. The out door fire pit was good and the hot tub area looks like it will be nice when finished.

A winter weekend foodie getaway.
Very nice house. Plenty of higher end appliances and entertainment. Winter firendly with fire pits, and heating structures. Well equipped kitchen and very family friendly with games, piano, playset. There is a Keurig, if you have a favorite coffee.

Snow Sports Weekend
This property is ideal for enjoying the local skiing and tubing activities at JFBB and Camelback Mountain. Located in a gated community the house sits across from a lake not far from the main gate. The house was clean and exactly what we expected from the listing. All the amenities were great, including paper products, bath towels, and a well-stocked kitchen. We even made a campfire one afternoon with the cut wood and played a few board games that night. Everything was well-organized and labeled to make it easier to get around the house. I would recommend!

Amazing house
It was a wonderful holiday. We really liked the house, location, design, organization of space, cleanliness. The owners have thought of absolutely everything that is necessary for living and even more. Everything in the house is new, beautiful design, dishes, games, everything is functional, everything is easy to find, as each cabinet is signed, there are comfortable chairs near the fire near the house. A 7-minute walk from the house is a beautiful lake, a playground. We felt very comfortable and cozy in your home. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and we definitely want to come back in the summer.
