“Everything was absolutely magical!! The property was stunning!!! The kitchen was easy to navigate with all of the necessities! The location was a dream, it truly felt like a travel back into the past. The locals bars and restaurants were wonderful to explore. The community was incredibly welcoming, and we were able to get advice on all of the best foods/activities in the surrounding areas. The host were extremely thorough with their welcoming booklet with all of the details of what to do in the……

“We were given a lovely welcome by Maria and Santiago, and a nice basket of local food and drink. The grounds of the house are beautiful and spacious with plenty of activities and lots of equipment. The pool was super. The house is very well equipped with all you need. Our week coincided with a serious heatwave and it was impossible to keep the bedrooms cool despite the fans. There is no Wi-Fi at the property but 4G was ok.We were a little more remote than we expected but we had a great relaxing……

“Énorme problème avec cette maison: la distribution d'eau. Manque de pression, un seul point d'eau peut fonctionner simultanément! Si un robinet coule, si une chasse d'eau se remplit, pas de douches ! Grosse contrainte quand on est 8 personnes ! It was a perfect house for this: there is lots of room for the little ones to play (like a nice play-attic), it is safe (it is the last house on a quiet road) and private, and everyone loved the pool and the jacuzzi, which are both well maintained. “Great location right by the Dordogne, and a short walk into Bergerac. Quiet, clean, modern, well-equipped, secure, easy parking right outside. Beautiful garden right down to the river. Very handy for the airport but no disturbance from there. Perfect base for exploring Bergerac and the Dordogne, by foot, on bikes, by car. Jacqueline and Jean-Marie are really good hosts - friendly, welcoming, helpful and responsive.”

“Petite maison parfaitement adaptée pour 4 personnes. Belle décoration en accord avec les vieilles poutres du salon et la grande cheminée d'époque. Maison fonctionnelle et très bien équipée . Un séjour parfait,avec un très bon contact avec Martine qui nous a accueillie. Nous reviendrons ,c'est sur ,pour continuer à découvrir cette belle région.”

“Le gîte est fabuleux, c'est un super endroit et les hôtes sont sympathiques. Pour pêche, c'est super endroit, l'étang est privée. Pour les enfants,il y plein choses super au gîte. ( des balançoires, banc à sable, toboggan, une table de ping-pong, et même une piscine). Le chien est super gentil. Je le conseil vivement.”

“A beautiful French house which was spacious and extremely well equipped. Clearly a well-loved family home and the beautiful house also has a fantastic outdoor area and an extra dining space, which is also well equipped, down near the pool and garden. A gorgeous region, but we could have quite easily spent every day in the beautiful house and by the pool. Brigitte was a great host and made us feel extremely welcome as well as well looked after throughout our 3 week stay. We have some very special……

“La canicule à gâcher un peu le plaisir heureusement que la piscine est top! Quelques petits travaux seraient à prévoir dans la salle de bain et également pour le portique pour les enfants sinon rien ne manque ! Mme Vaillant est très sympathique. Attention aux moustiques mais ça on ne gère pas !”
