“Beautiful location with beautiful sunsets on the lake. Place is extremely clean and host provided all the info for a great stay. Easy access to local sights yet quiet enough to enjoy nature and the beautiful sound of a loon on the lake.We were lucky to find this place and have such an enjoyable stay. “This suite was very clean and roomy in a nice, quiet neighbourhood. Phyllis was flexible with check in and made the check in/out process incredibly easy. There is a full kitchen that is well-stocked with dishes and extra appliances. It has a beautiful backyard and patio backing on to green space. The owners live in the house, but the entrance to the suite is completely private. We heard minimal noise a couple times from them upstairs during our stay. ”

“We had a flood in our BNB which we booked back in February. Thankfully this cottage was available to cover part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the location and we were so grateful for enough beds for everyone to stretch out at night (myself with 3 kids, one being a teenager)! “Four of us - 2 adults and 2 teens - spent a lovely, last minute trip March 13-15, 2025. The cabin did not disappoint. Nestled along the mighty Madawaska River and tucked down in the forest. We played cards, watched movies, and a sat on the awesome couch with a warm fire while enjoying the views. All basic comforts of home were available, the cabin was clean, and we were more than impressed. Would have loved to have had access to the sun porch, but understandably not in use over winter. “This was the perfect place for us while visiting relatives in the area and only an hour drive from the Ottawa airport. After we arrived Brianna came to welcome us and provide some detail about the home. This is a beautiful property, impeccable decor and design with all the amenities plus more. The hot tub, fire pit and a glass of wine at the rivers edge were added touches of enjoyment. The S’mores were delicious, thank you Brianna.”

“Absolutely gorgeous house and property with so much attention to details that really make the stay extra special! We had a great time and would love to return. Location is super convenient to the Burnstown beach and not far to calabogie. Super private with trees all around and stunning views from the upper level. Beds were amazingly comfortable, with lots of pillows and towels provided. Ping-pong table in the basement too!”
