“The place is simple and suitable for no more than three people. Everything is at a Dollarama-level quality. The bed linens were not as clean as they should have been, and we found hair strands everywhere. The quality of the bedding leaves much to be desired. Everything is made of synthetic fabric, stained, and not properly cleaned. The sofa bed has an extremely soft mattress that hurts your back more than it allows your body to rest comfortably. The host is extremely attentive and tries to help……

“There is an apartment attached to the back of the house, which has a separate entry for separate renters. House is more dated and represented a bit differently than the photos. A/C is a portable unit in each bedroom with a hose vented out the window. No dishwasher. Would not call it “charming”or “beautiful”. It was adequate.”

“The property had all we needed and then some! We really enjoyed the porch with the wood stove and took advantage of the outdoor fire pit as well. I was brave to kayak even though it was November. The lake was glass so I could not resist. The sauna was our favorite and we chose to sleep in the treehouse because it felt like you were sleeping outside. A beautiful snow was gently falling outside and we laid in bed and enjoyed the view. Our dog liked the area and the king walks we took in the……

“The apartment has a separate entrance and is well stocked with everything you need. The place was very clean. Location is in a residential neighbourhood close to downtown Arnprior. Bed was comfortable but I don’t think it was a queen, more like a double.”

“We had an all around great stay. Very clean, well stocked with kitchen appliances, cleaning supplies and other necessities such as bedding and towels. Communication was very easy and polite and we were given prompt responses to any questions. Listing is very accurate and the hot tub was great! The location is stunning. I didn’t have a car, but uber was reliable as long as the trip was scheduled 40-50 minutes in advance. We brought our own food to cook, but nearby pizza place was great for quick……

“What a wonderful stay out this cabin style cottage. The location was perfect for outdoorsy activities and not too far from Ottawa and Gatineau! The space was perfect for a family of 5. The space was well AC during the hot days and the layout was great for playing board games (available at the site) or reading a book! As well, the wildlife was amazing! We saw turkeys, rabbits, foxes and deer. It was a beautiful getaway!”
