Bath tub and sink had white soap scum in it. Coffee pot dried coffee all over. The entire room smelled indescribable. Property should be condemned.

Hard pass
Scary old property; bed was a pleasant surprise. We contemplated leaving after seeing the room. Owner was mean when our adult kid wanted to play pool. Would never go back nor wish it upon our worst enemies.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the room or the property. A Bar is part of the property, minors under the age of 21 are not allowed in the liquor establishment, period. Renting a room at the motel does not mean automatic access to the Bar for Minors (under 21years of age).

Good experience
As others have said, the greeting was very friendly. Although it is an older facility, it has been attentively cared for. There was a fridge and mucrowave and a recliner for watching tv. And, the toilet paper was soft and thick.

Clean, quiet, great value
This hotel was perfect for us passing through. The manager was friendly and courteous. He turned the heat on for us before we came. The room was very big and very quiet. Also clean. We had a great nights sleep. A good value.

Very quiet, spotless and spacious room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room had a nice table and chairs as well as a recliner! In addition, the room had a tv with lots of channels to choose from, a microwave, coffee maker and blow dryer. There is also a coin operated washing machine/dryer and an ice machine with plenty of ice. We will be back!

Good size room with nice bed
The price is good and the room was comfortable. Even the bed was nice and firm. Tristar is a perfect choice for heavy sleepers, but expect a train to go by and blow horns approximately every two hours.
