"Hotel Excelsior is all about the location. It’s right in the centre of La Maddalena, with an amazing waterfront position where you can sit and watch the ferries come and go. I booked a sea view room, which was definitely worth it and easily the highlight of the stay.

"This property is just beautiful! It sits atop a bigger hill overlooking cannigione and has a wonderful view. There are three outdoor pools and one pool in the spa area to choose from. "A very unusual hotel, but also a very special place.
Fabulous views and great food.
Staff were amazing and very welcoming at all times.
We would advise you to hire a small car as the nearest village is 4-5m drive and a taxi is difficult to get and very expensive.
Prices are definitely above average and if this is something that worries you, I would definitely consider other options.
Personally we would definitely revisit if we returned.
