“INCLUDES UNIVERSAL EXPRESS UNLIMITED. This is the Universal hotel I'd stay at for my theme park getaway. It's a beautiful South Pacific vibe. Great pool area, gym, sauna & steam room, grab & go, and restaurants. The luau show is also at this property. Easy transportation to the parks or short walk to Studios, Islands of Adventure, or City Walk.”
“INCLUDES UNIVERSAL EXPRESS UNLIMITED. This is easily my 2nd choice for staying at Universal. The resort is GORGEOUS, especially at sunset. It's easy to choose from the 'quiet pools' or activity pool as they are a short distance apart. The Mama Della's Ristorante is my favorite restaurant on Universal property and one I recommend whether you're staying here or not.”
“This is my top choice for Disney World moderate resorts. The quick serve and sit-down dining restaurant are two of my favorite plus it's next door to the Riviera Resort with another great quick serve option or rooftop restaurant with a great Character Breakfast option. You have easy Skylinner access to Epcot & Hollywood studios on both sides of the resort. Plus plenty of pools!”
“Rosen Plaza is a great budget friendly option on International Drive (I-Drive) and Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) vs. the Hyatt. Spacious pool area, well designed lobby with coffee & bar. Enterprise rental car within the hotel and a convention center.”
“Gorgeous hotel located directly across the street from SeaWorld Orlando. Beautiful atrium with coffee bar, restaurant, and well designed outdoor pool area with a kid's play structure too. Easy walk to SeaWorld and short walk to Aquatica.”
“This is where I'd stay if wanting to be on property and on budget at Universal. While this property doesn't come with unlimited Express passes it does include early park admission. I'm obsessed with the 50's & 60's beach resort vibe. They have rooms with Volcano Bay views too! You're directly across the street from Sapphire Falls increasing your dining options too.”
“This was my first every Disney Resort to stay at. "The Poly" is a beautiful resort and my favorite theme. The activity and quiet pool are both wonderful. You can watch Magic Kingdom fireworks (with music) from the beach, lawn, or pool. Plus, you can't go wrong with the dining options from quick serve to the famous Ohana, and of course Dole Whip and Trader Sam's tiki bar! ”
“If you want to stay on International Drive (I-Drive) and near the Orange County Convention Center this is a wonderful hotel option. Beautiful pool area at the base of the large tower of rooms, while not secluded from the hotel it is from the noise of I-Drive. Easy walk to the convention center and multiple restaurant options and entertainment options.”
“INCLUDES UNIVERSAL EXPRESS UNLIMITED. The pool area of the Hard Rock Hotel is a real standout (note: it is Hard Rock so music is playing louder here than other Universal hotels). Restaurant and quick serve options here are varied and shortest walk to Studios, Islands of Adventure, and City Walk of the Universal hotels. Water taxi to City Walk/Islands/Studios available and bus to Epic & Volcano Bay”
“If I'm wanting to stay on property at Walt Disney World I'm staying at the Swan & Dolphin Resort. Less expensive than WDW owned properties & has a lot of the perks like walking distance to Epcot and 1 mile walk to Hollywood Studios (boats too). Utilize the Skylinner for two of the parks or other resorts. Ton of restaurant options at the resort or Disney resorts around the same lagoon.”
“If you are looking for a VALUE hotel on International Drive, this is where I would stay. Rosen is a reputable Orlando based hospitality brand with friendly staff and incredible work in the community. This is their "no frills" style property but a quality location you'd feel comfortable staying in. Has a bar & outdoor pool, you are still getting good amenities and location for the rate especially.”
“Great property located across the street from SeaWorld orlando. Multiple pools, hot tubs, and nice gym. Walking distance to SeaWorld and Aquatica Orlando. Recommend staying in the tower rooms over the others as they are newer renovations.”
“A budget conscious choose to be near SeaWorld, Aquatica, and Epic Universe without skimping on the amenities. Located next door to Aquatica it's a brief walk that I'd recommend over driving, 5-8 minute walk to SeaWorld Orlando and just 10 minutes from Epic Universe. Gym is better than most budget friendly hotels and pool area is definitely nicer than you'd expect at for the price.”
