Expedia.com Expedia, Inc. Secures Trademark Settlement

BELLEVUE, Wash. – October 25, 2004 – Expedia, Inc. has settled trademark dispute proceedings against Expedia Services Limited, a professional services firm in the United Kingdom. Expedia Services agreed to cease using the Expedia® name, mark and any similar words or colorings in any future business transactions including customer dealings, financial trading, corporate branding and advertising. The company will also officially change its name, withdraw its previously filed trademark application and discontinue use of its current Web site domain at www.expediaservices.com.
