Expedia.com Hilton Hotels Corporation Expands Merchant Relationship with Expedia

BELLEVUE, Wash – April 14, 2003 – Expedia, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXPE) today announced that Hilton Hotels Corporation (NYSE: HLT) will provide Expedia.com® customers with greater access to the company’s owned, managed and franchised hotel portfolio, which includes such premier brands as Hilton®, Doubletree®, Embassy Suites Hotels®, Hilton Garden Inn®, Hampton Inn® and Homewood Suites by Hilton®. The two companies are also developing an electronic direct connection between Expedia®’s database and Hilton’s central reservation system, making it significantly easier for Hilton properties to manage room rates and inventory sold through Expedia.com.
