"Best place to stay in Asakusa!"
This was the third place we stayed in Japan (Tokyo and Kyoto) it was outstanding. The room is a good size and very well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen (stove, sink, kettle, rice maker, full size fridge, microwave, dishes, etc), ipod deck, cable tv, wi-fi (upon request but no extra charge), lots of storage space for clothes and bathroom items, robes, slippers, and a big shower. The bed is also very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel also offers free bicycle usage. The hotel is located directly in the middle of the old town of Asakusa with the Sensoji temple around the corner. The Asakusa train station is within walking distance (5 min). All in all a superb place to stay!

"Central location, good room, excellent views!"
The hotel is located an easy walk from the Metro station, just across the road from the markets. Perfect location for those looking to explore the area and do some shopping! Easy walk to the station even with large suitcases. The room is a good size for Tokyo, and the bathroom was quite large. After spending a week at the ski resorts and showering in a tiny little cube I thought this shower was pretty amazing. The rooftop terrace has excellent views of the sky tower, and particularly at night.

"Great ryokan in the middle of it all"
A great experience with the kids to experience a ryokan-style room. The convenience of a number of restaurants, shops and sights make this a great place to be booked at. It was also good they had free wifi and vending machines just in case anyone got hungry. Having said that with a 24hour bento box store and sushi restaurant around the corner, you won't really need much in terms of food. My only gripe is the fact they never clean your room, even once in our 7 day stay.

Much older facilities than the dormy inn in Kanazawa and the "bath" was the size of a jacuzzi...but the views were amazing riverside. Feels like you're right next to skytree.

"Superb location in Asakusa"
Great location a couple of minutes walk from the subway and temple. Loads of cheap but excellent local restaurants on your doorstep. Friendly, helpful staff. There's a Japanese-style bath free of use on the premises, a good breakfast if you want it, English or Japanese. The futon beds were comfy. Would recommend, especially to those looking for Japanese-style amenities. Asakusa is an easy place to stay, well-placed for subway access to most of Tokyo's best sights. The skytree tower is good and has a fun aquarium for the kids.

"Pleasantly Surprised "
Like the title says, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel considering I just had to book it and hope that it was alright. It's in a nice part of Tokyo and it's really close to two Tokyo Metro stops and easy to find. It's also fairly close to Ueno Station which makes it easy to get to from outside of Tokyo.

"Great central location "
Great location within walking distance of several worthwhile tourist sights, staff friendly and helpful, room small but standard for Tokyo and has everything supplied which was great and is across the road from local equivalent of 7 11 store for anything else you might need. They are happy to look after your luggage after checkout until you leave the city and the rooms are clean and comfortable and quiet.

"Nice but inconvenient location"
The overall experience was quite nice. Helpful staffs with good spoken English. The hotel is near to the Asakusa Temple and a 24 hours souvenir shop, which is attractive to the tourists. However, the location is a bit inconvenient and the nearest metro is 10 minutes away on foot, the nearest train station as mentioned in the introduction is TX instead of metro, which will be painful if you are carrying heavy luggages to/from the airport. Away from the major shopping or tourist district, so would be a good choice for business trips. Room is clean with all the standard essential items. Breakfast is good too.

Pocket Guide: Asakusa, Tokyo Shopping Hotels

Today visited for its Sensoji Temple, Five Storied Pagoda, and the Nakamise traditional shopping arcade, this festive neighborhood once was the city’s hot spot for drinking and dancing. Though it never experienced the development that Ginza and others have, it holds its own with an artistic community and some of the city’s top attractions.
