"Best place to stay in Asakusa!"
This was the third place we stayed in Japan (Tokyo and Kyoto) it was outstanding. The room is a good size and very well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen (stove, sink, kettle, rice maker, full size fridge, microwave, dishes, etc), ipod deck, cable tv, wi-fi (upon request but no extra charge), lots of storage space for clothes and bathroom items, robes, slippers, and a big shower. The bed is also very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel also offers free bicycle usage. The hotel is located directly in the middle of the old town of Asakusa with the Sensoji temple around the corner. The Asakusa train station is within walking distance (5 min). All in all a superb place to stay!

"Central location, good room, excellent views!"
The hotel is located an easy walk from the Metro station, just across the road from the markets. Perfect location for those looking to explore the area and do some shopping! Easy walk to the station even with large suitcases. The room is a good size for Tokyo, and the bathroom was quite large. After spending a week at the ski resorts and showering in a tiny little cube I thought this shower was pretty amazing. The rooftop terrace has excellent views of the sky tower, and particularly at night.

"Great ryokan in the middle of it all"
A great experience with the kids to experience a ryokan-style room. The convenience of a number of restaurants, shops and sights make this a great place to be booked at. It was also good they had free wifi and vending machines just in case anyone got hungry. Having said that with a 24hour bento box store and sushi restaurant around the corner, you won't really need much in terms of food. My only gripe is the fact they never clean your room, even once in our 7 day stay.

Much older facilities than the dormy inn in Kanazawa and the "bath" was the size of a jacuzzi...but the views were amazing riverside. Feels like you're right next to skytree.

"Awesome location, tiny bathroom"
It is in a great location near the temple. Lots of eateries and shopping near the ryokan. It is also very close to the Tokyo metro which made getting to the hotel and exploring the city very easy. The one thing is the bathroom in the room is tiny. It was easier for us to use the shower and tub downstairs than the one in the room.

"Pleasantly Surprised "
Like the title says, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel considering I just had to book it and hope that it was alright. It's in a nice part of Tokyo and it's really close to two Tokyo Metro stops and easy to find. It's also fairly close to Ueno Station which makes it easy to get to from outside of Tokyo.

"Great Value"
Great Hotel. Just down the block from Asakusa Station where you have access to Rail and Subways to get you anywhere you want to go. Direct access to and from Narita Airport without transferring . Check in and out was fast. Staff speaks a little English. Located just a couple of long blocks from the Temple and crazy shopping area. 7/11 just across the street and McDonalds just down the block. Smaller restaurants also nearby. I did not eat at the buffet as I was up at 5am everyday to go adventuring. McDonalds is open early and has low prices for breakfast. I had a single room which is small but with a great design maximizing space. Dont recommend for two people. Get 2 rooms. Bed is comfortable. Room has 32inch TV but no English stations. Room has air purifier, hot pot, desk, internet cables and flashlight attached to bed. Headboard has control panel for all the lights. Bathroom is like a stall shower. Bath has deep tub and great shower with good pressure..There is a two 2 way connection that brings in the water to the shower or sink. No need to bring toiletries. Everything is provided: Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Shower Jell, Shampoo, Conditioner, Hairbrush, Q-tips and more. You get a new toothbrush everyday. If you dont want your sheets changed everyday they leave you a bottle of water. Careful stepping in and out of bathroom as there is about about a 10 inch step up. There is a window with no view which you can only open about 12 inches for fresh air.

"Lovely hotel"
Me and my friend stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Enjoyed every single bit of it. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel room was always clean. It's in a quiet neighbourhood compared to Shinjuku, Shibuya. Yet very convenient. Train and subway stations are all within few minutes walk.

Pocket Guide: Asakusa, Tokyo Shopping Hotels

Today visited for its Sensoji Temple, Five Storied Pagoda, and the Nakamise traditional shopping arcade, this festive neighborhood once was the city’s hot spot for drinking and dancing. Though it never experienced the development that Ginza and others have, it holds its own with an artistic community and some of the city’s top attractions.
