Good hotel, but disappointing in some waysPosted Nov 17, 2013
I booked online for 4 girls to stay in 2 rooms, and specifically asked to be point in rooms next to, or near each other, as this was a farewell trip and we wanted to be as close as possible without having to get a villa. Upon arrival, they literally couldn't be out us in rooms further apart, they were at opposite ends of the hotel! This meant constant trips between the 2 rooms, phone calls etc when we asked staff why our booking request hadn't been followed, they just said "sorry, full". That was really annoying. Apart from that, the hotel is nice. Our room did have a broken shower head which meant we had to fashion a holder out of hair ties, and this wasn't fixed until the Fay we were leaving. It was also really annoying to come home to your "secure room" each night and find someone had unlocked, and opened, the bedroom balcony door. We didn't even know this had happened and slept with it open one night, meaning a room full of mosquitoes and a feeling of insecurity. This happened every day after we closed and locked it! The hotel has a nice pool area, and the breakfast is like most others. Disappointed that the "gym" was a broken treadmill and broken bike. The location is nice and quiet, and if stay here again if the facilities are fixed up a bit, and management listened to my requestw, or at least compensated me in some way for the annoying stuff up.

Good clean n quiet hotel, appropriate as a retreatPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: The large room
Cons: Service at the restaurant was rather slow
Location: Next to good Italian and French restaurants, just a stone throw away.
The room was perfect, being clean and quiet with nice view of the rice field. Real comfortable bedding facilities.

4th time stayPosted May 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall hotel was quite ok, decent but nothing fantastic to shout about. Only like it cos their rooms are big. As they were renovating their dining area, breakfast was moved to the poolside. The spread was miserable, coffee was bad and u had to wait for the service staff. Pillow cases n bedsheet have stains on them, TV signal went off suddenly, 10-mins wait for hot water which is a waste of water. Considering its low season, was quite disappointed. But in general the staff are quite helpful. Although its my 4th time staying there, it's my first time using the spa which was surprisingly nice.

Quiet and peacefulPosted Dec 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
We stayed at this hotel towards the end of our three week holiday in Bali and found it quiet and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. We had a spacious two bedroom apartment that my husband and I shared with our son and daughter-in-law. Both bedrooms were large and had an ensuite. We found this apartment allowed us ample privacy and comfort. In addition we also had a rather large balcony overlooking the beautiful pool area. A very nice pool to have a swim and then dry off on the comfy lounge chairs on the side. My husband and I had a fantastic two course dinner and cocktails in the restaurant on our second night. Service was also very good. Each morning we had a delicious omlette and fresh fruits and juice so we were more than happy with the breakfast. Very courteous and pleasant staff. Whilst we didn't use the spa (never do in our accommodation places) we were in walking distance to a fully equipped gymnasium, laundry and massage facilities. Also a fantastic Mexican restaurant a couple of minutes away. Just a five minute taxi ride into Seminyak. (Best to use Blue Bird as they have meters) Kokonuts shuttle bus took us into Seminyak on a couple of occassions at no charge as well. My one minor negative comment of our accommodation was the shower curtain was too short over the bath and water seeped out. We would happily stay at this hotel on another visit to Bali.
Thumbs up for the price we pay!Posted Jul 8, 2012 on Hotels.com
Stayed at the one-bedroom suite, it was comfortable and I had a good view of the paddy fields from the balcony. Definitely a plus point! Room was very spacious for two and it was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was good too, considering the price we paid for our stay. My only gripe of the hotel is that it would be perfect if the pool is bigger and better maintained. It takes about 10mins to get to the beach by cab (note: hotel is not right next to the beach and it is not of walkable distance). However the area is nice and quiet, although it is situated along the main road. My partner and I have no complains about the location and didn't mind the 10mins cab ride everyday, which costs less than one US buck to Double Six Beach in Seminyak. The famous potato head is just about 5mins drive away. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Kokonut Suite. For the price we paid, it was definitely way better than what we had expected! Excellent value for money! We would definitely be back again!

Come here if you love cats!Posted Jun 28, 2011
Ok location, Security was not amazing. We had two stray cats in our villa courtyard that meowed all night long, it was nice to have the company however. The spa was cheap and very freindly. Breakfast was okay. The tv could not be viewed from the bed. Small hotel, the pictures and the reality was a bit different. Hot water was not reliable.
