Bend, Oregon Hotel Rooms at the Independent

Great experience, front desk team could have been a little more warm and friendly. Two weddings were going on over our stay and we asked for a ride to our cabin and it seemed like a hassle, since they were so busy shuttling the wedding party around. Other then that it was amaizing would recommend for anyone to try the wonderful resort. Beautiful!!

We were greatly impressed with the quality of the cabin we had. The soaking bath eased the strains of the drive, followed by a couple of glasses of complimentary wine by pool. We had a great dinner and then enjoyed our fireplace. Our only mistake was in staying just one day. Next time we'll go for a three day weekend.

Everything about this Inn was top notch, except that the price was that of an ordinary hotel. The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable, and we could not hear people in the adjoining rooms. There was a nice outdoor area with a table and chairs to enjoy the view. It was an easy walk from the Inn to the river where there a couple of nice walks to enjoy. Though not close enough to the downtown to walk, it was an easy drive to the downtown, and close to the Old Mill area The breakfast was very good. The young woman who helped us at the front desk was very helpful, and the woman who served breakfast was very nice also. I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone visiting Bend.

Great little 1 BR - small, but all we needed for our stay as we were mostly at the pool, the Athletic Club, or out and about in the area. Efficiency kitchen met our needs very nicely, nice updating, especially considering the price. Pool grounds are great, athletic club is luxurious, service was friendly and good.

As always this facility was up to parr for my needs. It is streamlined in its service but very accommodating. I visit my family several times a year in Bend and every time I stay here it proves to be the right decision. They have easy access to downtown, freeways and it is peaceful come rest time. Great place to stay for my needs.

Had a good stay, walking distance to downtown and was nicer than I expected.

The property was amazing with the outdoor pools, hot tubs, fire pits, ice rink, frisbee golf, put-put golf, and all the hiking trails. Our condo was comfortable for three of us during the day. Our one bed had a memory foam mattress that took us a couple of nights to get used to. The other bed was fold out couch and the mattress was thin and very uncomfortable. Ended up sleeping on couch, which was only slightly better. Housekeeping was alright, but noticed a pile of dust under dresser when packing to leave.

We were a bit unsure of how the hotel was going to be, just from looking at the outside. Once we walked into our room it was clean and beautiful. They really did some upgrading. The pool was open 24hours and heated. Taxi rates from the hotel to various places downtown were pretty cheap. The outlet stores were just down the road. Everything was a quick drive from there. I would definitely stay there again!
