“The host was very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a great tour of the property along with some area history. Such a peaceful setting. Really enjoyed the patio upstairs off the bedroom. Great views of the terrain by day and fantastic views of the stars at night. Very close to the enchanting villages on hilltops nearby (Rigamagno and Scrofiano).”

“Nice house and a fantastic garden. Cortona is a great place. The house wasn't very clean and the Air-Con is available but doesn't really cool the bed rooms upstairs on hot summer days. It's too expensive for what it is.”

“Klassieke villa van wat oudere datum met klassieke inrichting; ligt zeer rustig in de bossen en heuvels; auto is nodig. Winkels en restaurants op 15 minuten rijden. Prachtig zwembad en verwarmd. Er zijn in de villa zeer veel faciliteiten (o.a. biljart) Host is heel vriendelijk en geeft veel informatie, problemen worden snel opgelost. We hebben een prachtige vakantie gehad en zijn tot rust gekomen; natuurlijk is de omgeving met alle mooie steden en natuurschoon fantastisch”

“Have stayed in area before, but not Cortona. We were taken around the property by Nonna and her grandson. A great team. They bogg live on siteNonna was attentive but not intrusive, and always left us tomatoes and basil from her garden, but spoke no english - more of a comment about us than her as it would have been great to talk to her more fully. A lovely lady. Stefano was great as translator, go to guy for info - taxi firms, air con specialists, bar to watch womens footy final! Etc A great……

“Das Ferienhaus liegt wunderschön inmitten der Natur. Wer kein Problem hat mit dem Auto über schmale Schotterwege zu fahren, für die ist es ein Traum, auch die Anfahrtsbeschreibung war sehr gut verständlich. Alles war sauber und die Ausstattung mehr als gut. Leider war ein Zimmer im Nebengebäude nur über eine sehr steile Wendeltreppe zu erreichen. (Ist für junge Leute okay, aber für 60+ beschwerlich). Küchenausstattung mit Gasherd, Spülmaschine und großer Kühl- Gefrierkombination optimal, leider……

“We had a fantastic week in this lovely villa. It really does have everything you could possibly need - a real home from home. Lots of lovely spaces inside and out to enjoy. We loved sitting out in the evenings having dinner and we’re lucky to be there during the Perseus meteor shower and saw lots of shooting stars in the clear skys. We also ate out in the lovely town of Cortona - la buccia with beautifully presented food and a couple of more casual restaurants which were also excellent. The……

“We loved our stay at “Villa Rosa”. The owner was very informative and provided all the detail and recommendations we would ever need. Alex the property manager was there to greet us to show us around and later provided further answers. The Villa is very comfortable with all the amenities you could possibly need. Great Wi-fi too. “Villa Gagnoni is a well restored authentic Tuscan farmhouse in a superb, tranquil "away from it all" natural setting. It is an excellent, well located base for exploring central Tuscany with many of the top attractions anywhere from a short drive to an easy day trip away. The nearby village of Lucignano is charming. “Nous avons loué une maison avec piscine mais nous n'avons pu utiliser la piscine que deux jours, dimanche et lundi (impraticable mardi et mercredi, eau trouble et très chlorée jeudi et vendredi). A cause d'un orage le lundi soir 15 aout et parce que la piscine n'a pas de couverture, la terre du jardin a glissé dans la piscine et l'a rendue impraticable (verte et "tournée"). De plus, les propriétaires n'ont pas réussi à trouver un professionnel pour résoudre le problème de piscine dès le mardi 16……
