“The staff was very friendly, rooms were newly updated and it was fairly quiet being on a road- only complaint is that the bed was a bit too hard for me but that could be personal preference. Oh and also the towels were tiny- other than that it was just fine for our weekend. It’s right on a lake so it was such a pretty area ”

“Front desk personnel was so helpful and nice. Room was clean. TV. Fridge. Microwave. Bathroom needed updating. Lots of bad plastering. One strange thing... I've never stayed in a hotel where the room didn't have a phone. ”

“My buddy and I had a guided fishing trip Wed. morning at 7:00 on lake Tawakoni. We decided we would get a room close to the lake. We both got a good nights sleep and made it to the lake in plenty of time. The room was clean and quite---the only bad thing was their road is in really bad shape.”

“I ended up buying the suite with the jet tub. Nice sized room. Very clean. Very good lighting. This stay is alot better than many others. Dont expect a nice breakfast at the hotel but one of my favorite places which is the waffe house....is literally near the hotel. There are many nearby places for food as well. This place has very easy access to the highway which i like about it as well. I would definitely recommend this place.”

“The owner/staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facility is a little old, but kept up fairly well and was clean. The beds were very comfortable and not worn out and saggy like most economical motels are. ”

“It is the place to stay if your bass fishing. The restaurant is within walking distance. The office and bait shop are all close. The lake guides meet there clients there. This is my 4th time staying at the marina, lodge. ”

“We booked this property for our Mother/Daughter/Besties girls' trip and we were NOT disappointed! We absolutely fell in love with this beautiful property! It was the perfect place to unplug and enjoy reconnecting! This would be a great place to rent for a family or friends or even a couples getaway. We will definitely be back!! Also the host of this property was amazing! Very friendly and communicative!!”

“We really enjoyed the cabin. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided and easy instructions left for things we were using. The hot tub was fantastic and the bed was super comfortable. The cabin was easily accessible to the highway and town when we needed to get food or anything else. We will be back!”

“Came to the area to see the solar eclipse, and decided to stay at this property on Cedar Creek Lake. The house was a perfect fit for the four of us adults and two small dogs. The big back porch has an amazing lake view, and the location—only an hour from Dallas—enabled us to enjoy lake life and go into town when we wanted to. The house was clean and comfortable, and the host made sure our experience was memorable. A great stay!”
