“View and property were perfect and met expectations”

“We had a wonderful time staying at Countryside Florence Villa. Pool was an absolute highlight during the heatwave Italy was experiencing at the beginning of our trip. Also being nestled in the hills outside of Florence meant it was 5C cooler at the house than down in the City. The property itself is large and well looked after with lots of character - huge fireplaces, old wooden ceiling beams and tiled floors. Modern amenities like AC, wifi and a large TV are supplied and were faultless during……

“It was absolutely marvelous. The owner of the property was so informative on places to visit, and places to eat etc. We had a wooden time and I would recommend that everyone stay here at least once in your lifetime.”

“The villa was a combination of multiple separate apartments, which allowed for plenty of comfort and privacy for our big group. The main floor apartment had a dining table and living space that could fit all of us when we wanted to gather. We took advantage of the pool (a bit of a cold plunge, since we were there in the spring weather), and admired the lovely views of the countryside from the outdoor areas. The location is very easy to get to from Florence. Our group went to Siena as a day trip……

“Beautiful home, dazzling finishes, lots of space. Went in April. Could not enjoy the gardens & patio due to inclement weather. Made dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. Not far from Park n’ Ride (€7 all day; €1.50 each way to Florence. Minutes by car to the vineyards. This villa has it all.”

“First of all this home is beautiful! Wonderfully furnished in every way. Kitchen is percecfly accommodating! But…the house is amazing for a large family vacation, business outings the way it is perfectly laid out to allow for privacy at night but wonderful gatherings at dinner and drinks and time together in the evenings! The hosts are amazing. Michael and Davita are amazing. You have to stay here to understand. Cheers!”

“This place could not be in a better location. You would never know that you are practically down town Florence while staying in this little oasis. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained were you wake up to the deer, pheasant, and ducks with your morning coffee. The stairs to the second story bedroom can be treacherous so be cautious going up and down and the upstairs bathroom is quite small, however the bottom bathroom makes up for it! Now the spa underneath is a real treat! The water……

“I stayed a week with family here and the views are are absolutely gorgeous . The villa is on one acre right in Strada in Chianti . It’s very quiet and relaxing and close to everything we needed. Francesco is an amazing host and was so friendly and helpful for anything we needed treating us like family . He is also a wonderful Chef and we hired him to cook us this delicious Italian meal one night . He is attentive and responsive at all times. The property was very clean and the pool and hot tub……

“I don't have the words to describe how wonderful Villa Poggio is! The perfect location--just far enough from Florence to feel you're in the countryside but close enough that it's easy to get to. The villa is beautiful, inside and out, and each room has special touches to make it unique. We loved the outside spaces and had Prosecco on the terrace almost every night. The dining table is huge and we could all gather there each night to share stories and laughter. The views from one side of the……

“Es ist ein sehr schönes, geschmackvoll renoviertes altes Haus. Der sehr nette Vermieter wohnt auf dem Grundstück mit seiner Freundin. Beide sind sehr diskret und lassen genügend Privatsphäre, sodass man den Pool und das weitläufige Grundstück ungestört genießen kann. Bei Problemen ist Andrea sofort tatkräftig zur Stelle. Die Küche und das Haus sind sehr gut ausgerüstet - selbst Mückenschutz hat er zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Lage des Anwesens eignet sich optimal, um von dort viele verschiedene……

“Our stay was amazing. The location was beautiful and easy for us to explore the surrounding area with ease. The house was beautiful, very clean and our host was most gracious. Upon arrival we had made a passing comment on how beautiful the patio terrace was and how a fire pit would be a nice touch so that we could enjoy it longer into the cool night. After the dinner our host organized for us at a local restaurant we returned to having a fire pit and wood on the patio. They went above and beyond……

“This villa is AMAZING!!! We had a group of 6 adults but EASILY could have fit 4 more. Coming from the US, this is the epitome of what we Americans envision Tuscany to be. We still can not believe how little we paid for the week, this would have easily been 3 times the amount in the US. The villa is surrounded by vineyards and Olive orchards; the only downfall was the massive amount of stink bugs that were out this time of year. We even brought one home with us ;). As long as you keep the windows……

“We hebben erg genoten in deze fantastische villa. Het was erg warm tijdens ons bezoek, het prive-zwembad was daarom erg prettig. Kamers zijn ruim en verzorgd. Airco hebben we daarom zeer gewaardeerd. Het is een mooie uitvalsbasis voor bezoeken aan Florence en Toscane. Dat goed met de auto, maar ook met de bus. Bus 23 levert je af in het centrum van Florence. Fijne ontvangst door Jannet en fijne contacten vooraf met Carla.”

“I can’t say enough about this trip of a lifetime. The villa is spectacular. The staff are amazing. They planned an excellent birthday dinner in the courtyard, a cooking class and a fabulous lunch at the villa. All of the food was excellent. The property manager could not have done anything better. She made several reservations for us and even purchased a few things for my grandson to assure that his trip was special. We felt like royalty. We will be back!!”

“I brought my family (5 adults with 80 y/o mother) to Italy for Easter Holiday. Property was beautiful, easy to find and to get to off A1 allowing us to get to many local Tuscany attractions. House was perfect for adults with ample sitting areas, large bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed a wine tasting and dinner one evening in the property which we thought was outstanding, would stay here again.”
