“The property, though older, has been well maintained and was spotless. There was plenty of space, and the view out the huge picture window over the water was spectacular. “This weekend was a perfect get away. The house was cute and quaint. We felt comfortable and at home while staying here. We have two little boys and they absolutely loved the yard, beach and dock. They spent all day playing in the water and sand letting their imaginations run wild. The lake was perfect for cruises, fishing was hit and miss this weekend but still caught a Northern, large mouth bass and little blue gills. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice get away weekend……

“Location was easy to find and hosts were very friendly and accomodating. Property was beautiful, and the cabin was cozy and had everything for a quick getaway. Not an issue for my plans (getting off the grid), but there was no cell service at the house (at@t). Would definitely recommend and would like to go again!”

“This house was perfect for what we needed. Our family used to have a house on Spider Lake so this was like going home. The rooms are very small and there is not a ton of space, but it was perfect for what we needed at the time. The beds are comfy, but the one bedroom with twin beds is barely moveable - they are end to end with no walking room so it is not good for 2 adults (kids would have no issue). We walked between the home and our friends place with no issues and the stars were beautiful.……

“We were planning on cross country skiing but Mother Nature had other ideas. Lots of hiking near by, 6 min from town, was just the right size for the 4 of us! We enjoyed our stay and would rent again. To the owners may want to add more dish towels or a drainer for under drying rack and a new toaster as you have to unplug it to get the toast to come up.”

“The cabin is small but very nicely updated in a north woods lake cabin thyme. It was clean and perfectly appointed, everything we needed was provided. My wife absolutely loved the way it was decorated. For a couple it was perfect and we would stay there again without hesitation. It had lake access , lake view, and our own dock for my fishing boat. There is self serve live bait for sale at the dock. Chippewa Flowage is a beautiful and unique body of water with excellent fishing for many species”

“This was a great place to stay for a group of friends. The game room and bar area was a lot of fun. The property manager responded very quickly and was easy to work with. My only critique is that the kitchen area could use a bit of filling out, with effectively no consumables or spices available and an odd scattering of kitchen tools/pans, with heavy wear.”

“/ My mother and I booked this property to celebrate her 65th birthday, get away from the Hussle and bustle of daily life and to enjoy the peace and quiet . we drive over 4 hours to a place without cell phone service so we could have peace.
