“We can't say enough nice things about this house. My parents, brother and his kids, and my husband and I stayed here for a family reunion. It is a wonderful house. The photos do not do it justice. We really enjoyed having our coffee and breakfast sitting by the lake. The sun room is lovely - we had one very rainy day and sitting there and watching the rain on the lake was very nice. “The house on the lake was a perfect fit for our family who was in town for a wedding. There were plenty of beds for the 10 of us (ranging in age from 3-55!). Karen provided everything we could possibly need, a fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, towels, etc. She was so generous providing water, gatorade, and freezie pops for the kiddos and firewood for a campfire. “First, I went with my 2 teenagers. It was such a unique set up with the boathouse and the creek. The house was very clean and had everything available. It’s an older house with a lot of character. The sunroom was perfect for morning coffee and all the birds, bunnies and 2 ducks visiting was an added bonus. The boat house was a great hang out place with a game table, games and a TV. “We were in town for the college graduation. The lake house is a perfect place to get away for a weekend or more with friends or family. From the high end appliances to the fully stocked kitchen you can cook, bake and grill. There are lots of little thoughtful touches throughout. Each bed had a throw blanket that was great for relaxing in the living room or on the deck. The sunset view was spectacular. The house is nicely updated with all things necessary to make a great stay. The house is clean with plenty of room for a large family. The owners are very quick to respond to any problems that you might have. Our group has rented this home twice, and are looking forward to returning.”

“Nice condo in a small develoment on the water, close proximity to Chautauqua Institution. Kitchen had nice supply of dishes, pots and pans, and a variety of spices and a few condiments which was very helpful. Beds were comfortable with decent bedding. Relatively clean. While there are beds to accommodate 8 people, the gathering spaces are really meant for 6 - there are 6 chairs for the dining table, 6 chairs for the patio furniture, and there is one couch and two arm chairs in the living room.……

“We love being at the lake. The place was well kept with regard to maintenance. The biggest issue was the water smell, this can be treated easily, and should be. The cottages were very sweet and they were nicely furnished. We loved the location. Loved the nearby park. We were disappointed that the online picture showed a private setting, lake side with a fire ring. Our family enjoys a campfire. “We went to see the eclipse and gather family members from Scotland, Wyoming, and Pennsylvania. The place was clean and welcoming and comfortable. In addition to the fabulous experience of seeing the totality eclipse, we enjoyed the many wineries in the area while the grandkids went to Splash Lagoon.
