“This is a very small hotel with very small rooms - that being said, the staff/management/housekeeping/kitchen made sure we had an excellent stay. They really cared about our comfort and did everything to make it a good one. The breakfast was generous and delicious. They were helpful finding us a restaurant - which was one of the best meals we have had on this 6 week vacation. (Maos na Horta - vegetarian restaurant in a 14th century stables and inn). Exceptionally clean and the manager helped……

“My partner and I stayed there for two nights and absolutely fell in love with this place. It is located at a reasonable distance from many attractions (Buçaco forest, Coimbra, etc.) if you have a car but allows for peaceful nights due to its quiet surroundings. The view from our room was incredible and they allow you to roam around their vineyard/olive trees plantation at your leisure (they even give you a little history tour if you want it !). The room itself was clean, modern and spacey enough……
