Seriously overpriced but good hotel

Posted May 2, 2014
Pros: Good rooms, common areas and staff.
Cons: Make sure the aircon is working at all times.
Location: Not much to do nearby except go to the Vic Falls. Just enjoy the hotel.
The staff are extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Overall, it is nice accommodation but is seriously overpriced at nearly $500 a night. Anywhere in the world it would be around $250 for the same. But this is Zimbabwe where everything is overpriced, so it maybe understandable. However, the aircon did not work on the last night of 3 nights of stay.

Luxury accommodation at Victoria Falls

Posted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: Exclusivity, privacy.
Cons: Zip
Location: Too many to enumerate, but don't miss the helicopter flight over the falls, whatever you do!
Wonderful accommodation at an exotic location, with exceptional staff and views over the African bush from your private balcony - what more could you ask for? There is so much to see and do, so much to experience, that time flies by far too swiftly.

Great place to stay when visiting the Falls

If you have a choice between the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge or the Victoria Falls Safari Club which are located on the same property, choose the club. You get top level service and much more modern and comfortable room, as well as free mini-bar, free breakfast, free snacks and sundowners with finger foods. Service is top notch and there is a free shuttle to town and the falls (about 5 minutes away).

Restaurants and main guest services are at safari lodge. Lovely room but otherwise would have been just as good as lodge
