The location is convenient, close to highway and just off a main route in Bowling Green. There is plenty of parking in the hotel lot too. The breakfast was ok for a complimentary offering.
The young man who worked the evening/night shift reception was great. Unfortunately, the same can not be said of the day shift receptionist, who was rude and had the practiced customer service skills of a toddler; they turned their back to me and mocked my complaint about our assigned rooms cleanliness. Commenting "if you don't like the carpet in there you wont like any room I give you". The room carpets are stained with all manner of substances - including blood! The first room we had had stains on the walls, furniture and floor; garbage under the couch, damage (dents and marks that were not minor) to walls and the Air-con unit was covered in dust/debris, the tv and bed headboard were thick with dust/dirt, even the closet had food debris on the floor. The carpets in the communal areas were in some places (elevators) a trip hazard. Obtained a new room morning of day 2. (after the laughable customer service). The carpet in this room was as bad, if not worse (two blood spots on carpet as well this time), but at least had been dusted/wiped down. Alas, when inspected further there was a mysterious stain on the bed top sheet, numerous marks on the bathroom furniture (toothpaste?), the bathroom door and frame were filthy with stains and water damage to walls.
