“Lovely old villa located in the midst of the grape vines just outside Canelli. Gated (electric) entrance with plenty of parking inside the wall. Beautiful views across the valley with vineyards, hazelnut trees, and a local flock of sheep! Tricky 1.5 km drive up a narrow road with lots of twists and turns to get to the villa, but you get used to it after a day or two! Diane and Brian were excellent hosts and most gracious, very willing to answer all our questions, make recommendations, and help……

“On ne pourrait pas se sentir plus en Italie que dans la maison de Massimo. On est dans du traditionnel, le charme désuet. Une vue a couper le souffle. D'abord sur les vignes puis au loin les Alpes et le Monviso. Le calme est absolu. Pour les soirs les plus frais, la cheminée est top. “My wife and I came and stayed along with two other couples for 3 nights in late September 23. Michael was extremely helpful providing us with ideas for what to do during our trip and answering any questions we had. He connected us with a local chef to do a cooking class and dinner at the house that was a great time. The house was a perfect size for our group and close to everything in the region via car. The views from the house are amazing. We had a great time and highly recommend staying here.”

“A lovely apartment in an old house in the center of the village. Easy to get into Alba and to shops. Good walking around the village as well as paths close by through the vineyeards. Great space and fantastic views. Very comfortable and everything you need. Hosts also live on property - and while our Italian is very limited and they have little English - we communicated OK and they were very friendly and generous.”
