“The hotel was old but on the whole well kept, but our room was small the window was frosted over so no view and only open a couple of inches. The bed was a very small double bed. On the plus side the staff were excellent and friendly. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection.”

“We stayed in the family suite with 2 twins and one king bed. Very beautiful room with high ceilings and large bathroom. Great for our family of 3 adults. Location was fantastic and a quick walk to the main road, nice walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel has a very nice bar and restaurant. We had a great breakfast every morning. “Excellent, friendly service from all the staff. The hotel was a long walk along the front from the ferry terminal but taxis were available outside on the street in front of the port. Very nice breakfast each morning which offered porridge, kippers and boiled eggs to order as well as cereal, pastries and full English. The room was lovely and clean with views over the sea front (we paid extra for the sea view) In the evening a gentle man was playing the piano in the bar which was pleasant while……

“Lovely, friendly and polite staff. Fire door banging next to our room all first night which kept us awake. Informed staff next morning and it was sorted out by the afternoon. Tired decor considering it was the executive luxury room. Bed wasn’t the best to sleep on. Breakfast was good, again, really attentive staff.”

“The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. ”

“It's a bit dated, still very nice. Brett, the receptionist was awesome. Gave us great places to go and eat/drink. Very friendly people all around. Housekeeping was very good and refilled everything daily. Car rental gentleman were fun and informative. Bar staff friendly and accommodating. Just a nice place to stay.”
