“My stay was work related, and I didn’t get to spend as much time at the bus as I would like to, but next time I return to the area, I will check to see if it’s available again. I had planned when I left work to go to the dock and rest and read a book but work scheduled meetings for me over dinner and it was late by the time I got there so I didn’t get to enjoy the facility as much as I had hoped.”

“Property was just as described. Never stayed in a container home before. It was done really well. Owner was really quick to respond. Bed was very comfortable, had everything we needed.”

“I first took my granddaughter (11 at the time) who was staying with me for a few weeks in the summer two years ago. She wanted to bring her younger brother who is now 10 to go camping again this year. We all had a great time. Jerry could have stayed with the animals all day!! Scott was very patient with showing and educating us about the animals. You could tell he loves doing it! Allie and I enjoyed just hanging out in the bus watching movies and taking a nap from a busy week! I did take Jerry……

“This cabin was so sweet and cozy! Everything was clean and labeled. Incredibly peaceful and so much fun for our kids (5 of them, ages 2-12) there were so many thoughtful things that made us feel comfortable and welcome! From Mrs June helping me navigate VRBO’s interface, to family games, and the ingredients for s’mores. We even took the tandem kayak out for a sunset cruise! It was just what our family needed to connect and relax for the weekend.”

“The property is exactly as described. Clean, neat, everything one could need to enjoy a long weekend or more stay. We cooked in the cabin and we bring a few dishes, pots and pans as well as utensils, none of ours were needed. The cabin has a well equipped and comfortable kitchen. It is obvious that this was someone's home at one time as it is comfortably furnished. Check in and checkout was easy. I made one mistake though and left the AC running when I left. I'm very sorry. The hosts……

“Wonderful place to get away for a few days with my family. Really close to Desoto and Fort Payne. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life is great at this cabin. Clean, cozy and perfect all around.”

“We had a great time at the cozy cabin at Little River Canyon. Everything was very clean, and it had everything we needed. Also, the location was great for what we wanted to see, near Little River Canyon National Preserve, Desoto State Park, and Cherokee Rock village.”

“My husband is almost 89 (June) and we wanted a place we could visit with our 3 children and their spouses. They all live in the area and came during the day to be with us. We very much enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The view is breathtaking and it was a peaceful stay. Sweet memories were made. Thank you, Harvey and Angel for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.”

“Ten grill refs to be replaced. We almost had a grease fire. It is filled with freeze and needs to be cleaned/replaced. The kitchen needs an exterminator because there were small cockroaches. Everything else was perfect.”

“We were working in the woods on the Cumberland Plateau including Little River Canyon Park so the cabin location was perfect. This was also one of the best equipped kitchens I've seen. There was more than enough room for the two of us - we didn't use all the amenities (TV, gas fireplace) but it was good to know they were there if needed or when we return with our families. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay!”
