“We ( two families with 2 children under 6 each) stayed here for a long weekend. We loved the proximity to the beach, to the view as well as cows and sheep, and access to the beach bar which was excellent. The house though plenty large enough for us, was very open, which meant sounds travelled ( babies crying either early in the morning or late at night). It was cozy and had all that we needed. Host was so lovely and helpful, easy to reach if we needed anything.”

“The choice of TV channels was pretty thin, but we weren't there to watch TV. Would have appreciated a non-skid mat in the bath. Stove top is due for a clean.”

“Beautiful, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped house in a rural location. Our group of 8 had plenty of space & options for sleeping. We were lucky to have great weather during our stay so took full advantage of the outside patio area. The scenery is out of this world. Bedrooms were lovely and comfy, the kitchen and big dining room perfect for a group to cook at home. A short drive into Donegal Town was a small surprise based on the description of the property where it states walking distances……

Knowledgeable staff spent hours helping me trace the location of my Irish ancestors and connected me to transportation staff to visit them. More than a room an experience!”

“A great base to take trips out from. The house was perfect for our family. We cook a lot and there was everything we needed to prepare home cooked food for our family. We all settled in very easily with very clear instructions from the owner. The town is very quaint with lots of walks locally and a bit further afield. We adventured to fossil filled beaches, mountain walkways, limestone caves, Neolithic tombs, fairy filled forests and Supervalu supermarket. We had a wonderful time and may well……
