“Nice pool great staff although during off season no beach activities and the transport outside hotel is extortionate and all part of taxi union so hotel has no say. Overall wasn’t much to do outside if hotel and I think Expedia should better explain facilities available. Personally I think the property is mis sold by Expedia and the problem is once you have booked through Expedia the hotel can’t do anything as you have paid Expedia. This is the problem booking through Expedia. The hotel……

“The setting is magical, and perfect for our smaller kids with activities and a kid-friendly swimming pool. Property condition felt a little dated and dining options were few and expensive, esp given the indoor option was very small and the hotel has no spirits licence (so only beer and wine available) ”

“We were 17 adults. I booked 7 rooms 4 months ago . I stayed ooty sterling 2 nights ( all 17 ) Kodikkanal sterling had terrible experience. First they don’t have big vehicles access to resort. Second they accommodate 7 rooms , but they charge for 2 adults 3790 for even sleeping in the floor. For 3 days trip they charge me over $ 3000.00 . Very bad ”

“My room was big and comfortable, with a mini-fridge. The staff was helpful. It's listed as a 5-star hotel, but in reality it could be viewed as a truly excellent 3-star or a so-so 4-star. The breakfast only had a few selections, but several of them changed every day, which is a good thing when you stay several days. My room was on the top floor, and there must be a metal roof, because it rained on my last day and it was so loud in the room I couldn't think. I also fault the hotel for turning up……
