“We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend Princes Point Villa! The location is perfect for an Isle of Skye road trip. The scenery is fantastic, with a sweeping view of the sea across a beautiful pasture. The apartment was clean and well appointed with a fabulous farm style kitchen. Tracy was warm and engaging and made us feel very welcome. Overall fantastic experience! Note that we booked through Expedia and some of the details/price were incorrectly listed. “Stayed in the cabins. They were amazing! Full kitchen and little dining area and couch with a coffee table. Very nice bathroom with large shower and extremely comfortable bed! Best night sleep I had on my trip! Also the restaurant there is really fabulous! And it’s just a quick 10 minute walk to the grocery store and cute shops! Great location and will definitely stay there again. :)”

“We loved our stay here. The picture window looking over the water was beautiful. The cabin was wonderfully simple and yet held all we needed. I had tried to book it for 4 nights but it was only available for 2 when we were there. I would have gladly booked it for all 4 and if we ever return to Skye we will definitely look ahead of time to book all our nights here again. Loved its eco friendliness as well! ”

“Good communication from the owner before we arrived. Property was an old cottage, but quaint and clean and had everything we needed except milk or sugar. The washer and dryer was a bonus. ”

“Where do I start? I guess first, the location, at the very north of Skye. Peaceful, serene, evenings with nary a sound but the sheep bleating in the distance. Second, the lovely Lorraine, who left us a hand written note on our arrival and baked us shortbread cookies to start our full day on Skye (during which my daughter became engaged at Neist Point). Third, the lovely remodeled Croft house, perfectly appointed and perfect for our every need. A truly exceptional experience for us in every way.……

“Views of sheep from conservatory in back (where we spent most of our time) and glorious water views from dining table out front which are not shown in listing but should be! Very comfy well equipped older cottage. Keith was great to chat with. The 4 mile one track road in was slow due to the traffic to the Talisker Distillery but that is no fault of the cottage. Just a fact on Skye!”

“We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!……

“We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. ”

“The Cottar is filled with so many treasures. From the rustic decor to the breathtaking view. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Our host was lovely. He gave us great ideas for travel to see the sights that are off the beaten path.”

Great set up for location dining option nearby and community nature walks all in reach by car or walking . Would have staying longer if I could , next time . Hosts has all the basics in the pod teas coffees and salt pepper . Just bring easy meal options and your set . Thanks ”

“Das Haus ist zauberhaft und durchdacht. Das EG großzügig und Licht durchflutet mit riesiger Küche. Oben 2 Zimmer mit Dachschrägen. Das Zimmer mit dem großen Bett hat ein gefangenes Duschbad mit niedriger (180cm) , schmaler, angeschrägter Zugangstür. Als 2m-Meter-Mann kommt die Duschhöhe ans Limit. Ergänzend ein weiteres Bad mit Badewanne. Die direkte Lage am Loch phantastisch ( nur getrennt durch eine Straße, direkt gg. der Isle of Skye) und das Dorf sehr schön. Ca. 30 Minuten zu relevanten……

“We’ve had five nights in this cottage. We where surprised about the landscape driving towards the cottage; lakes, hills and sea. We saw sheep cows and deer. The cottage was a perfect gift to explore the Isle if Sky. Wood for the fireplace, wine on the table and fresh made cake. We where a bit early but very welcomed by Dorothy and Andy. The view looks like a moving painting. I have never seen so many stars in the sky. We went to bed before 9 and slept till 7 like a baby. We lived the history of……

“We loved staying at Hughes Hideaway. Our favorite part was that there were little lambs/ sheep in the pasture next to the house for part of our stay. It also had really nice Mountain View’s as well as a little peekaboo sea view. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. It was away from the busyness, it was just a really charming spot to stay. We would definitely come back again.”

“Together with two friends who were in a separate room, I stayed two nights in the property in May 2024 Big plusses for me the following: we were in the garden annexe. Ace. That was number one. The location was convenient for the bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh. In addition the room was spacious, the bed comfortable. One big negative was that the heating system for my room seemed to be a bit menopausal is it only seem to go for about three minutes and it then cut off. Don’t know if that was accident……
