“We stayed 4 nights. First I’ll share the positives. First staff was quick to help with any issues. The location was close to perfect. It is walking distance to several restaurants, a little mini mart and the fishing pier. A short drive to anything else. The 2 beds were memory foam which hurt my back, but others loved them. I can’t do memory foam. The pull out sofas were spring only. If we ever must use them again we will bring a topper. They had floats, beach chairs and a few beach toys to use,……

“This condo was amazing. The view from the balcony was awesome. Being able to hear the sound of the ocean from the bedroom, well that was amazing too. Verg quiet and non crowded area, which is what we wanted. Condo was clean and kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. “Found the place to be clean, quiet and just what we needed for an early April escape! Just far enough away from the bustle of Carolina Beach and, still, within walking distance from the Kure Beach Pier to go fishing. This was a perfect pet-friendly place for us. Even the, incessantly grumpy, mother-in-law had a swell time! Sitting on the deck at sunset was the perfect ending to each day!! We will plan on a return visit, as soon as possible.”

“We stayed at the South Star for the Fourth Annual Please Island Jeep Jam. The location was perfect for the Fort Fisher Rec Area and the 4x4 Beach. The condo was clean and updated. The tile in the shower is beautiful! Loved that there was a box fan available. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Great location, very short walk to the beach. Grounds are very well kept. There was a delay in the availability of the pool, but we were able to use it the second half of our stay. There were a couple of small issues upon check-in which were promptly addressed. Would definitely stay again!”

“Booked this house for a family Mother's Day weekend getaway and it was perfect. The property was exactly as described and extremely convenient to the beach, as well as restaurants and shops in Kure Beach.
