“Great heritage hotel in top shape”

“Property and room were great. Room clean and ready when we arrived. Breakfast left a little to be desired. ”

“Senior female travelling alone. 2 minute walk to a nice Italian "bring your own beer and wine" restaurant. Motel staff very nice. Definitely stay here again. ”

“The room is comfortable and clean. However, only disposable tableware is used for breakfast, which is not eco-friendly. The location is easy to access and in a walkable distance to Byward Market. The only drawback is there are a lot of homeless on the street but they didn’t appear to be threatening. ”

“The property is very clean, new, and fresh- much better than previous experience. The breakfast options were good with hot and cold options. Would recommend adding a few vegetable/fruit salad options. The bathroom size is perfect but morning showers were a bit challenging/struggle because of the low pressure in the shower and highly fluctuating water temperature. overall great experience. ”

“The female member of staff on reception was so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was clean and included everything needed, it was quiet and a 10/15minute walk to the parliament buildings. The only thing that lets the hotel down which isn’t the fault of the hotel is the area the hotel sits, unfortunately there are a number of homeless and drug users in the area around the hotel which doesn’t present the most pleasant of arrival when coming to stay or walking into the capital. ”
