“Entry stairs were tough for my parents. House was clean. Served our needs. There was no view at all, although it was not advertised with a view. I wrongly assumed a house on the beach with sand dunes meant we would have access from the house. We had to walk a short distance to access beach.”

“This was our first time at the Swell House, but second time with Kiwanda properties. Communication with the host was great. The unit was very clean, awesome location, and we all had a fun time. My only gripes are the kitchen ware is subpar. This goes for all VRBO stays and other rentals we’ve done. All kitchens are set up with the “bare minimum.” I understand most people go out to eat on vacations, but janky cookware and lack of basics such as salt and pepper get old. The other issue we had is……

“This functional home is sitting up on the hillside with a private set of stairs placing you right onto the sandy beach. We enjoyed the most beautiful views and sunsets!”

“Wonderful view of the bay. Beds comfortable and lots of sleeping areas. Beautiful view from upstairs room. Great views from living room. The hot tub location is awesome the tree kind of blocks the winds. There are a few cosmetic things that need fixed. The path to front door needs to be straightened and the landscape pruned back.And the front porch stairs need another rail also. There are 2 of the kitchen chairs that are broken. The wicker outdoor furniture was so broken that it wasn't usable.……

“We took my mother-in-law to the beach for a few days, and this house was perfect!! There is a bedroom and both bathrooms on the first floor, so she didn't have to use the stairs. The view from the front windows is absolutely amazing, and she LOVED sitting in the chair there and watching the waves! The beach is just a short walk away. The kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed. It was also nice having the washer and dryer to dry our wet clothes after getting caught by a wave. The gas……

“We loved our time here. There was plenty of space for all of us. We loved the deck with its views. We enjoyed the hot tub, watching many a sunset. We definitely got a workout climbing the stairs to and from the ocean! There is an amazing tide pool in front of the house. We saw whales and seals. We would come back again!”
