“Loved everything about this B&B. It was nice and peaceful with the upstairs balcony, closed porch and two roofed patios with fire pits. Staff were very nice and excellent with the tour and breakfast. And their reliability to stock the fire pits. Only thing was the pool was said to be heated but still very cold. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“This was our second stay here. Excellent house, hospitality, grounds, staff, food, rooms, views - you name it. Close to downtown Watkins Glen. It is safe, quiet, and relaxing. We’ll go again and again.”

“What an exquisite property— the grounds, the house, the decor! The room is luxurious but only lacks in having a table to set things on (the closet is very small, too), but the room makes up for it in every other way. It was self check in with no host on site but communication was excellent and the next day, my husband ran into one of the managers, Nicole, who was a darling— so sweet and friendly and helpful. Trumansburg is a charming, very small town and 16 Elm is one of the nicest inns……

The innkeeper and assistant are perfect examples of graciousness, solicitous without being intrusive. “Really nice BnB. The room was large and clean. We stayed in the Parker suite. Large jacuzzi tub in the center room. The breakfasts were excellent 4 course meals. I’d like the coffee to be stronger but that’s a personal preference. This is a nice location. Don’t worry about not staying in town or on the water front because either of these are easily accessible by car and the town and waterfront do not meet each other geographically, so you’ll need transportation either way. ”

“We had a wonderful time at Moonshadow B&B over the past weekend. Our hosts, Jeanette and Steven, were great providing a wealth of local information for wine tasting, activities, and fine dining. They were kind, courteous, and sincerely interested in meeting with all guests and providing a fantastic experience. A huge plus was that Jeanette’s breakfast quality was truly 5 star - the best that we have ever had at a B&B. We will most certainly return when visiting Kueka lake.”

“My husband and I chose this property as even though I tried to book a year in advance of the 2024 commencement at SUNY Geneseo, everything was booked! We enjoy staying at B & B establishments more than hotel chains, and the 1795 Acorn Inn looked charming. Well, it was beyond charming, and I wish we would've stayed here the fours years our son matriculated at university. Sheryl and staff were so warmly welcoming. The property is lush with abundant, verdant foliage and flora, and the interior……

“Todd the owner is super nice and helpful to find nearby attractions. We checked in little early as well checked our early. Had a nice time relax and it was a kind of get away from the crowded and bustling city life.”

“The location of the cabin was very convenient to a good amount of wineries. We visited 9 and didn’t have to drive any further than maybe 20 minutes, many of them were within a 5 minute drive. The cabin is on the lake, the hot tub is awesome! The cabin was cozy and made us feel right at home, even our dog was so relaxed there. it was staged beautifully when we arrived, and there were towels for the hot tub, plenty of bathroom towels, kitchen towels, and the kitchen had pots, pans, toaster,……
