It was our third trip to Mexico. We really like staying at adult-only, all-inclusive resorts. The staff always goes above and beyond to meet our expectations. However, the food still tastes like typical resort food in Mexico. Our room, number 1638, had a beautiful view of the ocean - it was a King ocean view suite. We were offered an upgrade, but we decided to keep our room because of the amazing view. The evening entertainment was enjoyable and not too loud, so it didn't disturb our relaxation time in the room. We had the option to unwind whenever we wanted, while still having plenty of activities to keep us entertained if we chose to participate. There's no need to leave the resort if you don't want to. During check-in, we had to sit through a timeshare presentation, which seems to be the norm at most resorts based on what we've seen. Guests with preferred rooms had some extra perks like a separate check-in area, reserved seating on the beach, and access to a restaurant exclusively for their use. These benefits were sometimes convenient, but having a preferred room isn't necessary for an amazing experience. We felt very secure at this resort since it's located far from the main road and has three checkpoints to enter. Safety was a major concern for us when choosing where to stay.
