“The house had a well stocked kitchen for dishes,etc. we did find the fridge a bit small. There were plenty of linens and towels. All the bedrooms are a good size. Pretty location. You can also park in front of the house, which we didn’t know until we unloaded our vehicles. Right next to the local store and LCBO. Wonderful coffee shop a walk away. Very pretty little town”

“Overall the property was as advertised. Close to Smith Falls and Merrickville, it is situated on a small waterway that is peaceful and has seating on the dock. Price was fair for the accommodations. The icons on VRBO indicate that there are two showers but there is only one. The upstairs bathroom is a tub only. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed. We had a lovely stay.”

“Courtney was spot-on when she described the property in her listing. This place was PERFECT for the weekend my friends and I had planned. Unbelievable sunsets over the St. Lawrence from their HUGE entertainment deck. We were able to enjoy a campfire each night that was tended to by the property managers. “Our first off grid long weekend was absolutely beautiful! The cottage is cozy with fabulous amenities. The towels soft and fluffy, beds comfy, a wonderful greeting basket complete with a bottle of red! Even the fire pit was stocked! No problem with the fridge and we bought a camp stove toaster to make toast on the propane stove which we left for future guests. I used my hair dryer with no issue and never ran out of power. “This cottage is just as advertised. Well equipped, beautiful quiet location. We walked, kayaked, went into town to explore. We spent our down time on the screened in porch which was fantastic. Internet was not workjng when we arrived and a service call was placed. The outage was due to the satellite dish being moved, NO fault of the owner!! "I don't understand why it is rated as Star 2 hotel. The services is excellent; the staff are so helpful; and the environment is excellent.
