“We had a great stay here in mid May, the food was excellent and staff very attentive. The only downsides were, 1- that the rooms bathroom was a little dated with some unusual design choices - basically the shower was at the sloping end of the bath, with a short shower screen which meant the bathroom floor would soon be flooded, which had been happening for a while as was evident by the swelling of the bathroom door. 2 - The “Superior” garden room we had did’nt really feel superior and the 2nd……

“The most beautiful hotel I have stayed in Greece! Our villa was just above a beautiful sandy beach and had amazing views. This is a very special hotel with amazing restaurants and service. Well done to the whole team! Everyone was so kind!”

“What you see is what you get. Judging from reading some of the reviews everything was like we expected. Breakfast was nice and so was the restaurant for which you need a reservation. The main restaurants food was not amazing and atmosphere not very pleasant, but you can always go into town or one of the restaurants nearby for some variation. Other facilities like the waterpark, snackbar, pool bar are all very decent. Room was simple and clean. Swim up pool was great. Personnel at the reception……

AC hardly worked, when it did it had to be on Max and was LOUD, room floor was dirty, shower wouldn’t close, basin leaked, shower gel dispenser wouldn’t stay on the wall, shower head done whatever it wanted, water was salty(!!!!), there was a safe with no access to it, bed was hard, pillows were either like a rock or like a sponge, iron had no ironing board, bathroom drains smelt of eggs. “If you're looking at Domus Alta, don't hesitate, just book it! Just returned from 10 days here and for the price we paid we were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our stay here. From super quick check-in to when we left we could not fault our apartment and the lovely owner, Angella, made sure every detail was perfect for us. Large room with kitchenet which included table top stove, fridge, sink, all cutlery etc. Bathroom was spotless, rooms were cleaned everyday with new towels/sheets……
