“Owner is tremendous. I was foreigner without good knowledge of county or location and owner was incredibly helpful and friendly assisting in finding my way. Property is clean and spacious. Very comfortable. Location is a bit of a village but if you have car it easy to find and navigate.”

“Casa Pendoa is a beautiful place and we appreciated the option to store our luggage the day of our check out so we could continue our exploration of Sintra. This is a very clean apartment with lots of natural light and a close walk to the National Palace and lots of shops and restaurants. We did however experience no hot water which was a disappointment.”

“Etwas abgelegene Ferienwohnung am Rand von Colares. Nicht ganz einfach zu finden, der Vermieter war jedoch nach Anruf gleich zur Stelle. Nach genauerer Kenntnis der Örtlichkeit parkten wir auf einem öffentlichen (kostenlosen) Parkplatz mit direkter Anbindung an die Wohnung. Schnuckelige Wohnung in ruhiger Lage, in der alles funktionierte mit einem hübschen (etwas verwilderten) Garten und Platz mit Tisch und Stühlen vor einer Bananenpalme. Kleiner Laden gleich um die Ecke, in dem es alles gab,……

“Appartement situé premier étage sur rue assez achalandée, près de nombreux restos et bonne distance de marche (en pente) des sites touristiques (châteaux) et de la gare. Il est toutefois très facile de prendre Taxi, Tuk Tuk… pour se déplacer. Plus difficile avec une voiture car les places de stationnement sont très limités. Photos bien représentatives du logement, propre et bien équipé. Nous y sommes malheureusement restés que deux nuit. Je recommande!!”

“We ended our Portugal trip here in Sintra & this location was wonderful! Within walking distance of many restaurant choices & the train station 1 block away. Our visit was very brief but the apartment was just what we needed with plenty of room. Exactly as advertised & easy to navigate with street parking right out front. Thank you for a wonderful finale to our vacation!”

“El equipamiento es mínimo. A día de hoy un microondas es imprescindible. No hay armario. Una televisión viene bien. Creo que son cosas básicas.”

“We stayed in 5 rentals in our 3 month stay and this was the best. There was lots of room for 5 of us, everything was sparkling clean and there were nice matching dishes. The bathrooms were a dream. We loved the little gifts left for us. We loved Sintra and the location of the condo was close to the activities and only 1 block from the train station. We used the restaurant and bakery recommendations and loved them. We would definitely return. The only negative was needing to unplug the coffee pot……

“The apartment was great. Elisabete was so welcoming and it was decorated beautifully to feel like a home. Parking was available but generally needed to use the nearby lot which was not far but when carrying luggage it was helpful to know that. We could easily visit several things we wanted to do including the electric tram and visit to the beach resort and the art museum. Elisabete was always quick to respond to my questions.”

“Super Gastfreundschaft! Wir erhielten bei Ankunft eine ausführliche Vorstellung des Ortes Sintra mit reichlich hilfreichen Tipps für die Freizeit, Restaurants etc. Darüber hinaus wurden am Nachmittag auf dem Zimmer Portwein, Brötchen, Kuchen und Milch angerichtet. Echt super! Das Zimmer ist schon etwas abgelebt: Man müsste mal wieder streichen und den Schimmel aus dem Bad entfernen. War aber nicht weiter störend.Das Frühstück bestand aus einer kleiner Auswahl an Kuchen, selbstgemachten Teilchen,……
