“A great stay! The only situation would be the exact place to park? The property utilizes a septic tank so driving all over the property is not a good idea. I generally stuck to in between the side and front porch and close to the tree. The layout of the property is perfect. Neighbors are close but not that close, separated by an incomplete fence. Two deer feeders in the back area and a bird feeder several feet from the back door. We visited in late March until the beginning of April and weather……

“Convenient location for us to visit family and friends. Surprisingly many local businesses within minutes with various atmospheres & local flavors plus a fairly direct commute to local and HHI activities for both our young, local family members and their friends for easy meetups.”

“Positives: Cute nicely kept home, easy check in and out process. Pretty property setting and quiet. Negatives: Further away from Statesboro, where my son graduated from GSU, then we thought when booked as we only had a general town and not actual address till booked. 55 minutes to be exact. The adajacent property was unsightly and uncomfortable to drive through to get to this property which is at the end of the road. It was junky and loaded with abandoned cars and you literally are driving……

“Wonderful relaxing getaway home with so many special touches! We enjoyed coffee on the front porch watching the birds and catching up with each other. The beds, bedding and towels were excellent and added to the homey feel. We had a rainy day and enjoyed watching a movie and playing games. Kitchen well equipped, extra blankets, towels and pillows. The donut shop down the road was nice too, we highly recommend it. Great communication and everything was even better than described.”

“Lovely home & setting. Very peaceful. Lots of nice touches…snacks, popcorn machine, wood for outdoor fire & supplies for s’mores, breakfast foods available, etc. Owner very responsive, polite & easy to work with. Only complaint about the house was it needed a good deep cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to accomplish this with the few hours they have between check out & check in. We did have issues with the listing on VRBO - when booked (almost a year ago) the listing did say events up to 50 people.……

“This property is in a wonderful quiet location. The house has lots of space and amenities. From the property, it was an easy drive into Savannah and all the great sights there. It was nice to be in a quiet residential neighborhood at night.”

“Overall we had a great stay at the Pineapple house however there are a few things to know that aren't included in the listing: Pros: -there is a ping pong table with tons of paddles and balls and there are a few board games (Sorry, Uno, Savannahopoly) -there is a large front/back yard, a hammock, and a grill (we brought our own propane) -the beds are really comfy, rooms are spacious, and there's central AC and heating to set as you like -the location is off a main road and everywhere we needed……

“Host is attentive to issues and is very communicative. As other reviews have mentioned the check in and out process is a little over the top. The AC is shut off after each renter so be prepared to arrive to 85 degrees and have to wait for the house to cool down once you turn on at check in if staying during hot weather.”
