“Gary’s place was just what the doctor ordered. Cozy and clean, well-stocked, and secure. Gary’s communication was fantastic - he gave a heads-up on the sneaky railroad underpass to get to the house (which was totally fine for my sedan), and checked in at the beginning and ending of my stay. “This property was great. It was very well stocked with everything we could need, including a Keurig, K-cups and creamers. Appreciated an ample supply of paper products, so no need to go buy more. Loved all the nice touches- cute signs and pictures and really comfy furniture. The property was nice and very quiet for sleeping. If we go back up to the area and would recommend it to friends. “Charlie the owners was at the property very welcoming and nice .the property was amazing. Right on a river. The house was above incredible, you feel your at spa .he has everything you could ever want. The only down is the well water has a sulfur smell but he provides bottled water for cooking and cleaning .so no problem. Cool evening enjoyed a nice fire.the pictures on the site are exactly what it looks like. Dont think theres a picture of the bench by the river its a great place to set.”

“The Lakeview Lodge was just what we needed for a weekend birthday celebration with a large family group. We needed the large number of bedrooms, and having adequate space on both the main level and lower level was important, since we had cool weather and much of our time was spent indoors. The owner was very accommodating and we had no problems checking in or out. Everyone had a great time.”

"The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn."
