“Fun resort. Would go again in the future”

“Our first time here. Very nice looking facility, entertainment and most staff really friendly and helpful. Lobby check in and out staff not so friendly (kind of rude and in a hurry to get me out). Food was bland and burgers were burnt, buffets had a nice variety of food choices. Family was happy overall. ”

“Sandos Finisterra is a nice place. The rooms are a bit dated but very spacious. As part of VIP, we were upgraded to 1 bedroom with 2 bathrooms, 3 beds, a kitchenette (with nothing in it), and a dinette area. Pros: Nice pools, beautiful area overlooking the marina. Close to markets, excursions, cruises. The food in the Italian restaurant, Don Diego and the restaurant off the beach were all very good. The restaurant by the pool was ok. Evening entertainment daily was very nice. Spa was also……

“My stay at this property was fantastic. We purchased the all inclusive package. The experience exceeded our expectations. Although it’s known to be an older property, it is still nice. It is clean. The staff is nice, friendly and efficient. Shout out to Ismael, our waiter at the Beach, he is an excellent server. “Not a resort style property, more is like a hotel with two adjacent building separated by a public area.. Staff, are super nice and attentive and property is clean and modern … Room next door to us in one night and quiet pool area which is right under rooms on another night was extremely noisy with people listening to their own loud music and talking and laughing till 2am and beyond, we had to ask for help from hotel security… So, if you like your peaceful night to get ready for another great……

“This was a return visit, which means we liked the previous stay, and happy to say that hotel has only improved its services since then. Grounds kept in excellent condition. Staff very courteous and friendly and helpful. Amazing beach and great service. The buffet food is only good for breakfast, stick to beach/pool service during the day and eat a la carte dinner (or better yet, go to Sunset for dinner). We will be back again!”

“We had a good stay. Clean, quiet and very safe with a 24 hour gated entrance. One thing I wish I knew is Grand Solmar and Solmar Resort are two different resorts that are side by side. The photos you see with the infinity pools are the Grand Solmar and that one is triple the price. Solmar resort has one medium size pool and a hot tub. Food and drink prices are very high, even more than what we pay in USA and Canada. We thought how expensive can it be, and ordered it the first day. We paid around……
