“The location is about 20 km from Maratea and about 1 km or so above the beach and perhaps 600 meters to an old village, The photo of the water is NOT from the suite, which looks out over backwards and an a soccer field with the sea in the distance. I'm not sure if this is listed as a B&B, but our host left us a home-made cake and a bottle of nice juice; we were there for 3 nights. “We spent a week at Le Cannicelle in August 2018 for a family reunion and holiday. We were 5 adults and 5 children (aged 6 to 15). We had an amazing week at Le Cannicelle - one that we will remember forever! The Villa is a gorgeous 3 floor structure and we rented the entire villa. “Beautiful, private, comfortable, authentic. Giuseppe was always available, kind, and generous; he even picked me up at the station. I found the experience of living under the olive trees deeply transformative. The walk to Pisciotta is steep and lovely, taking 20 to 30 minutes, depending on your level of fitness. Walking to the beach is more like 40 minutes to an hour. Don't forget the part about sheets and towels.”

Stefania gave us a lot of useful tips and suggesrions for beaches and restaurants near by and was always ready to help. The access to the house was a bit rough, but we fot used to it at the end. Lots of little secluded beaches with pebbles to discover. Highly recommended. Thank you Stefania for a wonderful vacation!”

“We had a nice holiday. The house was clean, had a nice view, a lovely terras and a beautiful garden. Restaurants are in the neighbourhood. You can reach the village on foot within ten minutes, there we had a nice dinner at restaurant De Peppe. Also the small beach was nearby.”
