“AC made a loud noise ”

“The view from the room was blocked by plastic over the windows. If I had known there was major construction going on I would not have booked there. The pool was overrun by young children with no adult supervision (I'm sure there is a limit legally for safety). They were running and jumping in the pool with no regard for others. No towels were in the pool and no seating available. I neglected to ask for a AAA or AARP discount when booking and was told at checkout it had to be done at booking. No……

“Friendly, helpful staff. Huge room with queen size sleeper sofa. Lots of breakfast options but no fresh fruit. Good coffee. Very quiet with view of farm fields. Bathroom floor corners were dirty. Ceiling vent area was so dusty it looked furry.”

“Could have been a little cleaner. The rooms looked like high school students did the painting and remodeling of the rooms. They were fairly clean but I think it could have been better. If they took pride in their facilities it would be well worth a 5 star rating. ”

“It was only 15 minutes away from the college and fairly easy to find. It was cozy, had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend it.”

“Second time visiting Grinnell for conference swim meet at Grinnell college. Staying here allows us to let our daughter to nap btwn sessions. The property is peaceful and full of chirping birds. We’ll definitely be back…hoping no one discovers this gem for the same days we need it!”

“This property is absolutely fantastic! The owner was super friendly & hospitable. The interior was clean & well maintained. They didn’t spare any expense (like some VRBO’s do) on the mattress. It was super comfortable & I slept like a log. Super quiet & somewhat remote leads to a very nice stay. Take a chance on this we’ll kept secret. You won’t be disappointed.”
