“The room was amazing and the bed has to be the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The staff were great super helpful and respectful. I love that they send you notifications to you cellphone and allow you to reach out to them with questions while on your stay via text. The private beach is superb and the pool was EVERYTHING!!! I am coming back here next year”

“We loved our stay at El Colonial. The check-in was relaxed and flawless and we were greeted with a drink. The balcony with outside tub and shower and a generous seating area was our favorite part of our stay and we loved being on the fourth floor because of the view of Old San Juan. The staff was super friendly, efficient and helpful. Free coffee, water, wine, beer and rum for the final win. Lovely and in a walkable and great area. ”

“The hotel room was beautiful, I did not want to leave. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming. We did not try the hotel restaurant because there were many restaurant choices within walking distance. The property is not a large hotel with one small pool and a jacuzzi, but worth the stay. I'd book again.”

“OK, the bathroom was a little small but the room was pretty good. It was clean and comfortable. I loved the free breakfast and actually tasted pretty good. I would stay there again.”

“Nice and quiet. 2 things that would make this hotel much better would be placing mini fridges in the rooms and also making sure the hot water runs at all times. Other than that the stay was great. ”
