“We had an ocean view, next to the little river or inlet. Lovely on the balcony! The unit clearly is a bit dated. While clean, it had carpet stains and tears, but all the fixtures worked well and the overall experience was just superb. We would go back.”

“Beautiful and peaceful cottage on the river and 5 minutes from the beach. Very comfortable bed and woke up to a palm tree breeze every morning along with a rooster reminding us it was time to get up 😊”

“Could not get over the view. The resort was gorgeous and the balcony showed it all including the beach. The room was basic but fit our needs. Plenty of towels for the two of us for beach and home. The pool and hot tub were great. The beach on the property was not great. Not for swimming, but nice to walk down and listen to from our room. Did not love the resort daily parking fee. It was as much as our car rental and because the property was secluded you had to pay it. Location was great tho.……

“Great communication from owner and property manager prior to checkin with directions and instructions. No problems with checkin or accessing unit. Condo grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Condo has nice view of pool and ocean. We enjoyed relaxing on the Lanai in the mornings and evenings. Pool is nice and has tiki bar with happy hour specials (3-6). Condo is a studio and as pictured. It was clean and functional. We loved the location of the condo for exploring the very beautiful island……

“We had a great stay for 7 days. We loved being able to sit on the lanai and watch the ships and harbor activity. The condo had everything we could possibility need including quite a few pantry staples and condiments. Very traditional Hawaiian style home, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“This is the perfect stay for your Kauai vacation. The room was more spacious than the photos give credit too and the fridge was perfect for storing water and cold beverages. This room is clean and carefully appointed and the Outrigger property is lovingly maintained and met all of our expectations and then some. We initially thought we would miss a kitchenette but that was certainly not the case. There are an abundance of affordable dining options nearby and I had a much needed break from……

“This is an older facility but kept in good shape. The grounds are beautiful, but the rooms are pretty average. Great view of the ocean and pools from our room on the 5th floor. The beach is wonderful for walking but not recommended for swimming due to the coral. If you’re looking for a beautiful location in a relaxing and quiet environment, for a reasonable price, this is a good option. You’ll spend more than double for a room with this kind of ocean view at one of the bigger/newer resorts. My……

“Resort property is beautiful. Only complaint I have about the resort is that the pools are freezing. Everything else was great. The room was nice and I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the fridge. It is bigger than a standard hotel size fridge. The bed mattresses feel old but not the end of world. The view from the balcony is awesome so that was nice. I have one request that would have made the room even better, two beach chairs in the closet. This room is a solid 4 out of 5 stars.”

“The location is great, close to the airport, hiking trails and beach. Room is nice and clean. Check in and out was easy as was communication. No early check-in though...per front desk they need to stick to check-in time privided by owner, not really a big deal, just thought some people may find that helpful. Thank you and Mahalo!”

“Luke warm water in shower 50% of time - spoke with Mgt and improved slightly, COLD water in swimming pools, hot tubs in lava rock setting was cool, Nice Long Sandy Beach, beautiful kept grounds, close to Lihue, mattress was too firm, chickens awaken you at 4 am everyday, resort designated smoking area 50 ft from outside balcony, Air freshener prior to arrival was way too aromatic, chickens jump on tables and surround you when eating at poolside, Shave Ice was nice, daily Parking fee of $22.50……
