“Beautiful Caribbean style property across the street from the beach. The master bedroom bungalow and upstairs bedrooms have AC and we had no issues with the bedroom without as it stayed cool with the provided fans. Property has all the basic amenities and is very comfortable. Easy drive to Playa Cocles and Puerto Viejo for groceries etc. I would definitely recommend!”

“What a beautiful property! Communication with the owner was fantastic. We rented the three casitas on the property and all were perfect for our group. The grounds and pool were immaculate. The wildlife was abundant with sloths, parrots, toucans, capuchin monkeys, howlers and more. Cesar and Maribel were there for all of our needs and made us feel safe. Would highly recommend for sure!”

“Juan's place is beautifully landscaped right on the beach. Sue and Alvaro were very welcoming and helpful with any needs.We loved the location and the amount of wildlife we saw while staying there. It was very comfortable for our group of 7. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.”

“For our anniversary in 2023, we planned a Costa Rican adventure on the Caribbean. We found this house and it looked perfect for our family, with three adolescents. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency that forced us to postpone. The owners were incredibly gracious and allowed us to reschedule for February 2024 with no fees or penalties. “This was our second time staying at Villa Toucan. We love the place. It has more wildlife than anywhere else we've been in Costa Rica. Oropendolas, Macaws, Toucans, and Bat Falcons all nesting right in view of the outdoor kitchen. This place also has a large concentration of snakes, spiders, and beautiful Poison Dart Frogs. It's in your face wilderness! The house is tucked up into Manzanillo National Park with a nice walk to one of the prettiest beaches we've seen. We will return again!”

“After a busy week touring Monteverde and Arenal, our stay at this house on Playa Negra was a much needed restful few days at the beach. Loved the proximity to the beach to pop over the street when we wanted as well as the relaxing sounds of the waves and ocean from the expansive balcony and all the delicious restaurants nearby. House was clean, beautifully furnished and well set up with everything we needed, even a few beach chairs and boogie boards and noodles. Only thing I hadn’t truly focused……

“This was a nice place to stay and was close to everything without being in the middle of it. Lots of restaurants walking distance and in between 2 towns if you need to get something. The beach is directly across the street. This street is the only road on this coast so it can get a little busy/noisy. House only holds 4 at most but if you had a few friends staying around this would be a great place to meet up cook meals and walk to the beach. Biggest drawback is no A/C so if your not use to……
