Great Hotel - Great Location

Could not be happier with the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Well appointed, comfortably large rooms, in a modern, well run, and truly efficient hotel. Its ultra convenient location, in the heart of the theater district, made it an easy choice for our needs. The check in process, from the time we stepped out of our own car at street level, checked in on the 8th floor lobby, and received our bags in our 20th floor room, took less than 15 minutes. (It was equally efficient in reverse!) My final comment has to do with the elevator system. At most hotels, the elevators are maddeningly slow in the mornings. NOT HERE! A brilliantly designed computer system has solved the problem. Never, at any time, did we wait more than 20 seconds for an elevator, and never did the elevator stop at more than two floors on the way to our stop. BRAVO!

Great stay

The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was imaculate, the chairs were comfortable, the beds were heavenly soft, the bath room was huge and clean, and the view was amazing.

This Hotel was very conveniant for our visit. The transit was close by, as well as the theatre, and world class dinning.

from the valet at the garage, i thought i was in a Four Seasons..every person we came in contact with greeted us!!! made us feel like we were VIPs. also, the room was larger than I had expected..

My favorite place to stay

If you’re going to see Broadway shows The Marriott Marquis can not be beat for location! Literally in the middle of Broadway, close to awesome restaurants! Great restaurants and bars in the hotel! Love it!

The Best in Times Square

My daughter and I spent the weekend here for her 26th birthday. Had a beautiful view of Times Square! The hotel room was much bigger than others we have visited in the past. Close proximity to eateries and shopping. You will not regret this great hotel! You have to visit the "View"

Hotel was good. lobby and elevators were great.. Everything was good.. Hotel room was nice and has everything expected but could have been better for a luxury hotel.. Check in person said he will call me when the room is ready but I never got a call.. Checkout was smooth.. no complaints but nothing unexpectedly great..

I loved this hotel, my daughter and I went for a two night stay trip, to celebrate her college graduation. We ate dinner at the "View" restaurant on the 42nd floor of the hotel. The food was either buffet or a sit down dinner. We chose the buffet, after spending almost $100 we figured the money spent was on the view, not the food. Next time, I’ll spend $10 on a drink and enjoy the view for an hour, and eat someplace else. Anyway, back to the hotel, the beds were nice but very soft, the pillows and blankets were all feather fill. The room was very large and roomy, nice large bathroom (single sink). Great maid service. Overall, a very nice stay, enjoyable.

It seems like the hotels staffs are too busy to explain anything to me on what I can expect. They did not go through the expedia offer that I purchased, I have to ask for. Free move passes and breakfast package. They did not take the package price off my bill unless I asked for. Very disappointed in service. It is very convenience to stay at Time Square, the location is perfect. We got put in the room that smell like smoking room even though we ask for non-smoking.We are too tired since the plane was cancelled, changed to 1 stop and delayed. 12 hours travel instead of 1.

The New York passes are great. It saves a lot of money for attractions. The underground is not a good choice if you travel more than 2 people. It costs less with taxi.

great stay in times square

My husband and I took our teenage son to New York and had a great stay at the Marriott Times Square. The room with two double beds worked well for us and the room was spacious for New York City. The location was convenient for getting ticktets and seeing shows. My son loved the crowds on the streets of times square but our room on the 21st floor was very quiet.

Can’t wait to go back.

Broadway shows, Shopping, Nightlife, Dining and the most wonderful sites within a few blocks from the hotel.

Great central location - within walking distance of most everything. Loved the kiosk in lobby.

Major convention hotel. Not for those who don’t like crowds. Took until 4:00pm to get our room cleaned. Not good. Lots of "outsiders" lounging in lobby bar area with fast food. Couldn’t get a drink. Elevators were total chaos. Went in May, and returned to this hotel in July - totally different experience!!

Best Times Square Hotel, Best Location

good staff. very helpful. great location, right on times square. the elevators can get annoying...but they are really fun too. felt like a luxury stay for a few days in nyc.

Great Place

We found the hotel to be a very convenient place to stay. The room was nice and very comfortable. They took the time to find us a room that overlooked Time Square but was just before the rooms that cost more for the view. Overall, I don’t believe we would spend any time looking for another place to stay the next time we are in New York City.

Excellent location close to Time Square

Hotel was well maintained and elevator system was very efficient. View overlooked Time Square but was quiet. Rooms were large and well equiped. Beds were extremely comfortable, so we spent too much time in the room sleeping. Located close to Theater and restaurant row so did not need to leave area. Taxi cabs were usually available at the hotel and subway was a short walk.

Very Satisfied

It was everything we wanted in a hotel: great location (on times square, next to the theater for the Lion King), great rooms, friendly, very good exercise area with windows overlooking times square, and helpful travel services desk. We didn’t use the hotel restaurant because it was too expensive.

Beautiful view of Time Square!! Nice restaurants and Starbucks there inside hotel. We travel there every year and love this hotel. Look forward to coming back.

Nice Location

This hotel is in the heart of Time Square broadway. Its location is great. The service was good. There is no fridge in the room. I had to order one because I was having some medicine with me. I thought this is weird that they don’t have it as a standard in the room.

Excellent stay, Great location

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and I would definitely stay at it every time I’m in New York. Most rooms have great views of Times Square, even if they aren’t direct views, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and the hotel is nice and quiet at night for sleeping. Both the View Restaurant and Broadway lounge have great views and are right in the hotel. The location right on Times Square is ideal for any traveler.

Junior’s restaurant and Bakery right across the street from the hotel is open late and has great wings and desserts, it is moderately priced, but you get a lot of food for your money!

Great choice for Times Square in New York

This hotel is all about location and it’s smack in the middle of Times Square. The rooms and hotel service are great, and even the elevator system impressed me. Definitely would stay here again!
