“The staff are nice”

“Only stayed one night to go to a concert. Said check in from 3pm but when I arrived at 4pm room was not ready. No air-conditioning in room but it was big & beds looked clean but whole place is in need of decorating. Lift was out if order. Kettle in room but only two mugs for three people. Had to ask a couple of times to get an extra mug. Did not use bath or shower over bath as didn't look clean. Towels are provided but no toiletries. Pub next door was good for a drink beforehand but doesn't do……

“The property is advertised as having Air Conditioning…according to the receptionist this hasn’t worked in months and is going to cost £75,000 to get fixed!!! Instead our attic room was equipped with fans. At least we had those, we met a chap who’s room didn’t have a fan and the receptionist informed him that they didn’t have any spare so we gave him one of ours as without them it would have been unbearable during the heatwave! We booked the superior room with balcony, the balcony was shabby,……

“Spent 3 nights here for parklife . Excellent amenities. Lovely room spacious and clean . Staff were very informative and friendly . Breakfast good selection and open till 11 ! What a bonus . Thank you for our stay. Hope to see you next year !”

“Room was good”

“We had a room with a jacuzzi in it but no plug to use. The shower was in the jacuzzi, it was a big climb into the jacuzzi and I slipped bruising my arm. Also the bar was closed from 4pm due to staff shortages, as we were travelling with our daughter 11 we couldn’t go for an evening drink. Place was clean, staff friendly, location great.”
